cool, even though Nintendo stopped shipping this game, the gamestop near my house still has new copies of this game. getting it in the summer when i have more money and go on my game buying spree.

Mrbobbystorm, thats a good stratagy. i thinkill try that. i usally just wait behind the middle island and waait for them to come to me.

I don't think i've ever lost at this mission. All you need to do is get the first strike with the bomber on one of their towers for a point bonus, then wait for them to attack. The naval guns behind your fleet will ensure your victory if you are defending. When they do attack, you can also sneak behind with the bomber (try to avoid aa towers) and bomb the naval guns to pieces. Whether you do this to ensure your victory or just to rub it in is your choice.

To ocunter this I tend to switch to a frigate in the beginning and blow your bomber right out of the sky after you get the RPG tower. lol then the score is 30-40 me.

Generally, if the other person is of your skill level or higher then they would be able to nip in and out with the bomber before you even have a chance to destroy it, however it can sometimes work i suppose.

Its never worked against me though, and it stops you from using the same tactic, which means if they dont attack with bomber then somebody has to break the stalemate.

It has worked all the time for me, because the Frigate is faster than the bomber. By the time he reaches the RPG tower I'll be there waiting. I tried it on a 5 star though and he was smart. He just did a U-turn back and left us in a stalemate.

In a stalemate all you have to do is fly close to the edges of the map and bomb the Naval guns when you get to them.

Woah, those water effects are a damn good effort for the Wii, I'm planning on getting this game and it does look good.

STRATEGY:

- Set frigate to guard naval guns.

- Take control of bomber and destroy their RPG tower (right side of middle island).

- Keep subs at base.

- Noobs will take their entire battalion with them -.-

- Use dreadnought to destroy the anti-air towers.

- Use bomber to destroy naval guns when enemy frigate isn't around.

- To reduce risk of "Enemy player +10" bonus, immediately switch to another unit when health is low and under fire.

- Should be a cakewalk from here on. Good luck ;)

the best strategy on sea battle is fly first with bomber but out of the battlefield and destroy the nabelguns . then you have so mush points . then go in hs side and attack . when he hasnt neabel guns can you easy win .

i now love this game. Its like a mix of call of duty and axis and allies, yet put in a more appropriate-for-kids enviroment and look. My parents don't let me play call of duty, ( not my fault don't laugh ) so i just play this. i still get the action and more troops.

can anyone tell me how this game shapes up to the first one?...i liked the first one, i just hated all of the extremely hard missions at the end, like the one where you have to destroy the power of the iron legion...i actaully beat that level, by firing at the beacon with just my anti air vehicle..the very last one was good....but i beat it with only two mortor vets remaining

well... zelda is better if you prefer to play alone - there will be 40 really good hours of playing. although, metroid is even better than zelda (and harder, what is a good thing). but if you have a way to play online, and you like it, than battalion wars 2 is better.

You set commands, such as attack, wait, follow, etc. It seems difficult when you watch, but after 5 minutes of gameplay I had it mastered. The sea control is especially intuitive.

It was my first time. I figured that as long as long as I could get close enough that the bomber would obliterate it. I thought blast damage was blast damage. I didn't know the that bombers would do unrealistically little damage just because the target was anti-air.

I'm no great genius at this game yet but I've seen naval battles turn on a dime if you can get your bomber in and take out their naval guns, they're worth a lot of points.
