I'm glad to see that someone has comeup with a way to remove the lace because it is very hard to see and get close as needed to remove I do a very similar method using a piece of paper.
I love the wig you're wearing now! Couldn't tell it was a wig. May I ask where did you purchase it? The style is one I rocked with my own hair long time ago.
Another question, when you wear the lace fronts, can you sweep your hair up in the back? will the back have tell tale signs of it being a wig???
thanks that really helped a lot becasue I was afraid I was going to mess it up and can you do some videos showing different hairstlyles to wear with a lace front
thx you thx you .. so useful .. as u know cutting the lace is the trickiest part .. i am glad 2 see this before i receive my LFW .. pls pls keep these videos coming .. 5/5 perfect ..
wow what a wonderful trick. i wish i saw this video before i got excited and started cuttin mines lmao they turned out cut so i wont whine but im sure this help me much more cause really cant see.
HI, very good video and tips! What is the name/brand of the wig you are wearing in the video? In the future could you post a link to the site you purchased your wigs from? Thank you so much, glad I became a subscriber.
I really like that lace front. One thing I noticed you did that I do with mine as well when cutting off the lace... I find that using small scissors is also helpful.
Your hair looks beautiful. Thank you very much for this doing this. Would you tell me which lace wig you are wearing? I would absolutely love to have one.
Hi Dezi, i would really like to try the lace front wigs, but i'm concerned about the glue. Does it irritate your skin? That's my biggest concern. Please help!!!
wow this was a great tip thank you so much.. I messed up the wig that I bought on the internet last time because I didnt know how far to cut the lace and couldnt see the hair line.. Thank you for adding this tip!
The hair is actualy tied / ventilated onto the lace. The part that is removed is the extra lace. It is up to the individual, how much to cut off. You can not leave all of that extra lace there because it will be visable and everyone will know you have on a wig.
I finally know how to remove lace. This was the reason I did not want to wear one. (I never knew how to remove the lace) But now, I will. Thank you so much!
I like a lot of the lace front wigs, but how do you actually wear them and make them look natural? is it a salon thing? do i have to take my lace front with and get a stylist to put it on for me?? i'd surely like to know Ms. D
Ms. Dezi, what is all the Hoo!Haa! over these lace front wigs? I went to get one twice at two differernt places. I was not impressed. Tell me what you like about them? I think the synthetic style are much more fasionable.
Dezi that is so cool and you don't have to use one of those mannequin heads. Plus like you said it saves you money that the stores are now charging. I have never worn a lace front or any wig before but when i do (because i want to experiment) I will try this method. Thanks for the tut. Blessings.
I've bougt three lace front synthetic wigs, and I' sooo hooked to them. The beauty supplies I've bought mine from have never offered to cut my lace. I like your method I'll try it with my next one. How do you apply yours? I read one of your replies and you use glue I dont either I used to use the tape but I dont like it I use the combs too. do you leave your hair out because yours looks good.
NO PROB.. Thanks for sharring... I wanted to say... This is going to be helpful!! I also find using the foam heads helps.. pin it ( wig) to the foam head and use a fresh blade. the foam heads are like $2.99... oh I also wanted to ask if you use adhisive.. which? Ive been using liquid gold.. but it gums up my lace :(.. and the mirror slide isn't ((always)) eficient.
I like the develyn glues and removers mind you i take mine off and on every day I wanted to find something that didnt stress my skin im prone to break outs. They have a nice citrus smell too. I swear by it.
Just got my first front lace wig with a bang so I will make sure I have enough clips thakyou very helpful

Love this! The whole wig head, clamp, pins method is what makes it scary to me. This seems pretty painless.

I don't use glue, because it breaks me out!! I use the Lace Front Units that has the comb attached inside.
But I will search for some info for you about it. Ok!!!
