I recommend using a fully charged battery if you are having power problems. If your battery isn't lasting very long then I highly suggest purchasing a new battery. They don't last forever.
HI everyone can someone help please. I have a 20d with an error 99 so the manual rekons its the lens that is bad.(a 17-85mm canon lens). I have been advised that the repair would be comparable to the price of a new one . Does anyone has any cheap Ideas. I live in tropical far North Queensland of Australia so it pretty humid could it be rust? help help......please
@kuvceebxab1 Mine does that and still works, Take the battery out, reset all the settings, turn off auto focus and restart camera. Try other modes too see if it sill does it.
wow, you are a sincere canon photographer, i got a 20D and a 550D, now i got a 5D Mark ii, so far i knew the lenses compatibility might gave glitches to some different canon body, i use the macro for 20D as the photo taken are kinda smooth and nice but also it goes to 550D haha!!, long shot i meant only for 550D for my outdoor fast shots and videos, the Mark ii,.perhaps i am not so pro about it yet, and since it is fully equip with the bottom grip and flashes and a ef24 lens.. it looks scary X.D
not surprised since i have had nothing but problems with Canon repair service. they never even looked at my equipment the second and third times I sent it in since it came back exactly as i sent it in...
it has forced me to buying refurbs. so i have the warranty from the buyer or third party lenses...
it's a shame they don't bother to stand behind their otherwise great products. had i known i would have gone with Nikon when i started.
