People with their Kodak C-110 cameras taking pictures, I remember those days! Obviously this is video, I wonder was it with that giant video camera we lugged on our shoulders?
OMFG.....I WAS THERE FRONT ROW ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STAGE. One of the best nites of my life....and yeah they were alot LOUDER. I still have my ticket stub!
3:20-3:32 w-what is that even? O: all i know is i wish joe would hug ME like that lmao.
perhaps i am unaccustomed to live performances but it just looks very odd to me. don't get me wrong though! - it is sweet ...but odd. there is no other way i can put it haha ;D
Me & my friends were at this concert. We saw them 3 times on the Hysteria tour. We still talk about the "Good ole days" of our concert travels through the years. Steve Clark WAS the "Heart & Soul" of Leppard. The "Riffmaster", with his Gibson slung low & long blond hair, man, he was "Stage Presence Personified! I have often wondered what Leppard would have been like had he lived. Thanks TVD for keeping his spirit alive & KICKING!

PETE WILLIS ! where are you ? put some music out , start a web page, something !!! These clowns are ruining the awesome early LEP work you did. We know you were the mastermind behind all of that incredible music geneous of the first three albums. We saw the difference after you left, it was horrible. All they could do was kiss the camera and play a bunch of electronic crap. S.O.S. Pete, save LEP from the horrible path they've taken.
Yeah even though Steve came up with most of the riffs, it was Willis...LMAO, get a clue.....And hysteria was one of the top selling albums of ALL TIME and you say it was horrible when the fan base said otherwise. Please go on the wheel of fortune and buy yourself a clue!
No, you're right. The gay community loved that album and the stupid POP single, "pour some sugar on me". Their new found fans loved it !!! And it was a big success. LOL
Yeah the whole album had only one hit on it! LMAO!!! It was a rock album, like it or not. Is Pete Willis your boyfriend or something? Maybe your daddy?Cause you are sure all over his jock.
Beyond awesome....rest in peace, Steamin' Steve. As much as I love Viv's playing, the Lepps have never been able to get past Steve's death musically. While he was not a technical player by any means, Steve could play the coolest fucking riffs ever. In terms of knowledge and ability, he was probably average for a rock player, but there are things that can't be captured by technical ability alone...attitude, touch, class and taste among them. And he had them all in spades. RIP Steve.
All though you are correct on the great things beside his technical ability, from studying I have learned he knew very much for a rock player, the notes and chord structures he used are unbelievable, listen to how melodic his riffs and solos are, this showes he knew very much about notes and where they were all over the fretboard. He was a GOD!
Thanks Bond! That was the one! That sportatorium was perfect for the In The Round Tour because it was round and not huge. So everyone would have been close. Steve was just so amazing and fun to watch. I love Viv and I think he gets a bad hand when people compare the two. They have two different styles! Nobody can beat Steve in my book but I still love Phil and Viv. Thanks again!!!
They didnt paly in the round at the Sportatorium because the roof wouldnt take the equipment in the middle of the arena, so the stage was set up at one end of the venue.
Wow that's too bad. It would have been a great place for the In The Round. I am sure it was a great show anyway. Wish I could have been there. That is probably why they closed it down. It had been around a long time.
Loved these guys when I was a teenager and their shows kicked ass but I have to say when Steve died so did all the songwriting talent in the band. They havent done much since.
yea....steve wrote most of the songs on Adrenalize too....thats why the next album w/o him wasslang....and it just SUCKED!!! Too bad Steamin' died before they could tour adrenalize.
Great video. I love watching Steve, but it makes me sad at the same time. He's just
so-o-o awesome with that guitar! I agree with leppsrule2, Joe's jeans aren't as worn in this video. Damn it!LOL He looks great no matter what he has on tho! I loved watching it!
great video!! i see joe's jeans arn't quite as worn as in there in your face dvd. you can almost see his package there lol. keep on rockin these video's out girl. r.i.p. steve
The sound in 'In the Round' was prodused Def Leppard themself after the shows and this is from DVD with original concert sound - well in not very quality
@lesabre123 Its because Pete Willis wrote this song..all his songs on the first 3 albums was the real Def Leppard sound...not this garbage they put out now.Pete was the lead guitarist back then...not Steve Clark. The solos you hear should be played by Pete...but they fired him for supposedly being a drunk, but they all were. Pete didnt want to cash in on the MTV wave or go weak like Mutt Lange wanted them to...thats why the great songs on Pyromania feature him..and he was already fired
@netrioter I am sorry, but you are so incorrect it's unbelieveable. Steve did the overwhelming majority of the solos and songwriting in the early years of Def Leppard. You are correct that Pete came up with the riff, but Steve always did the solo, even when this song was originally called, "When the Rain Falls" You need to learn your Def Leppard history.

@lesabre123 Way louder in your face back in the 80's. They were one of my first shows back in '81...and holy christ did they just kick the shite out of the house...Steve yakking off stage and all.
Awesome video,it would be more awesome if you could send it to me.Remember when you said if you had anything i wanted you would send it to me well i want this. Thanks if you can't send it thats alright.
