ya thats a good shelf project but once you take it to the dirt an all that paint chips off an gets every where, it will look like shit, plus the added weight an like buddy said down there the truck is engineered to be the best outa the box, a couple mods but not the whole dam truck may as well part it together then buying it an swapping ever stock piece off of it, yu probably have enough parts to make a stock revo with no tire no esc an no motor haha

Looks cool, but.... everything that traxxas made that car for has been defeted by customization. Me personally, I like to drive my car where ever i want know that debre wont get inside wheres its not wanted, looks will stay the same and paint wont chip. And that chassis you bought was a waist of money due to the fact of everything being unbalanced now. To each his own though, so for what YOU wanted... good work. But for me, i would have never done that.

@Cyonyst Ever looked at a buggy or truggy? Totally flat bottoms, and no problems doing what they're designed for. I'm betting this guy spent a lot more time on tracks than he did bashing, so the low pan is perfect for him. Looks like a really low center of gravity. I'll bet it flies in the twisties.

oh great... now when you go around corners the bottom plate skids the ground when the chassis leans... but the COG is dramatically lower, so all you have to do is stiffen the shock ... i still dont like E-revos.. they always heavier on one side....

@ seethesvt - It's not a simple BL conversion...the entire chassis and layout is custom. For starters, the motor is on the right...all other BL conversions have it on the left. Plus, it has a full truggy chassis conversion, which was hand-made! There is nothing simple, basic, standard or easy about what he did. Have you seen his gold E-Maxx? That is another work of art!

this is not custom build, it's spray painted with brushless conversion and a couple extra addon's, custom build and converted are 2 different things, the second the rocks start flyin that thing is gonna look like garbage, all that paint will chip off
