The hoof-heart was meant to indicate which hoof had a magnet inside (some ponies have hearts on the wrong hoof, but that's a factory error). Later they took out the magnets but kept the heart on anyway. Near the end of the gen, they made plastic clothes for the ponies, and the heart became a coathanger to indicate which poses could wear the clothes.

In other news, G3 dolls look -so- much better than this CG, I swear to god.

Why do some of the ponies sound like themselves from the cartoons, and some of them sound completely different? That can't be Minty's real voice.

I did like seeing some ponies I never saw in the cartoons, like Valenshy and Fluttershy. Also I enjoyed the line "I require more horse statues."
