After destroying Ohio State in front of 90,000, the Oregon game brought in maybe 80,000. Many arrive late, leave shortly after halftime, even the student section (as a whole) only "shows up" for big games.

I disagree lol. It hurts me to say this because I'm a USC fan myself but the crowd has far too many old alumni that are too apathetic towards supporting the team through good and bad.
After destroying Ohio State in front of 90,000, the Oregon game brought in maybe 80,000. Many arrive late, leave shortly after halftime, even the student section (as a whole) only "shows up" for big games.
It must be the perception that going to USC is about making money; not about enjoying football?

yea i would be mad too if my fans were coming and leaving like that, even through our horrible 3-9 season, we still sold out every home game, if i was going to a school with a football team id be going to every game lol especially any of these big time schools that we've been mentioning. yea, some fans would die for their team, others just really take it for granted i guess..
