  • @dismezdatu: what blockbuster movie? I only know about the documentary he refers to here...

  • Sing already, Richard...sing!!!!!!!!! Jesus.

  • I love this song and love hearing these two sing it together. It really bugs me that Richard's song was used in a blockbuster movie and he didn't receive a dime for it.

  • Anyone to whom these are familiar voices was blessed more than I. Glad to have found them now.

  • It's always feels so familiar to hear their voices. Like an old friend you haven't spoken to in ages, but when you finally speak, it's as if no time at all has gone by......

  • Been too long since I've seen either artist live. Like an old cozy sweater on a snowy candle-lit night. Thank you for sharing.

  • Beautiful song!

  • The dominatrix of harmony!

  • the song starts at 3.26

  • very good

  • This is completely new to me---song and singers both. Gorgeous on all fronts. And that sweet Gibson reminds me of my dear old J-50, sold (sniff) in 1969 to my idol Steve Ferguson.

  • check out the cry, cry, cry version on the right with dar williams on vocals. very hauntingly sweet!

  • Terrific performance from Richard...and Lucy seems to have a voice that works with everyone.

  • I love Lucy when she does harmonies for other artists, but have not been able to get into her solo material.

  • Beautiful performance. Even better than the Cry, Cry, Cry version.

  • A really beautiful song, I wish he would come back to cincinnati. Thanks for posting.

  • This is great. It gives one a sense of what Richard and Lucy are really like in concert. Nice people and great musicians. Thanks for what you share.

  • I just saw Richard perform two nights ago in NYC. I adore this song; thanks for posting it.

  • Beautiful song that I've enjoyed for years. thanks for putting up!

  • This is one of my favorite songs of all time. Top 10. And I'm Jewish. I grew up in a small town where everyone sang that "Jesus loves me this I know" song, and I felt utterly left out. Somehow this song cuts through all the cultural tape and locates the heart of something utterly real and utterly eternal.

  • I agree. There is something in this song... something indescribably beautiful and real

  • I just heard this on "Sound and Spirit". The version there was on an album called Cry Cry Cry. This version is wonderful. An Easter Treat.

  • outstanding. gorgeous. very skilled capture, thanks kneecam!

  • I saw the same documentary and always wondered what became of it. Glad to finally find out.
