  • thanks for sharing. VMWare rules!

  • good one

  • USB Drives are compatible with VM's. You have to change the setting to VMware Workstation to accept removable devices.

  • do u need the windows disk every time you boot up the virtual machine

  • @crishellreads yes it can detect usb's you just have to enable usb detection is the VM settings

  • great video to learn abt virtual machine, i am impressed wd like to say thanks.

  • so, if i download windows 7 on a torrent, and use the .ISO image to create the virtual machine, will it work and is there any need of a cd rom in this process (ISO) because my drive is broken

  • @joeybbbbbz if you downloaded windows 7 from a torrent its will work 100% perfectly and yes you can use iso instead of CD :) in fact iso is faster than CD

  • something is wrong.it tells me that i must active the windows or...

  • This is the best VMware Tutorial on youtube !!! You really helped me out:D

  • @Cookieface1994 you're welcome my friend :)

  • When you have successfully installed a Virtual Operating System, are all settings save in RAM? Like, if i were to install a software on a virtual OS (XP) like you have there, will VMware automatically reload it every reboot? Sorry for the question. I'm sort of new to this VMware.

  • dont work anymore so just dont try it

  • @Admon1959 em.. whats your point ?

  • Windows isn't the best operating system, I've got a iMac and a Desktop with AMD HD 6000. And I compare this two operating systems and windows only have 1 thing more than MAC OS X Snow Leopard server, games. But I can do a crack and quickly play games like, crysis 2 or even ps3 games like Gran Turismo 5.

You guys use "PC" for all Windows 7 machines and "MAC" for all MAC OS X Snow Leopard machines, but....

PC means: personal computer. If you guys think about it, a Mac it's more "PC" than a "PC"...

  • thanks 4 the video that was real helpfull, hope to see more videos in hd from u.thnks again

  • @kabera0 your welcome :)

  • @730844

Thanx for the great Tutorial. Really amazing. I got a quick question for you. Would it be possible to install Vmware in a Win 7 system, after install a Virtual other machine with either Win7 or Xp and install softwares, plugins for the software etc... and then use Acronis to make an Clone of the Win7 Virtual machine and let acronis CLone the Virtual Fresh Win7 to a normal HD and use that as a NOT virtual machine?

  • how i can update the Virtual Machine Graphik Driver?? i will install a game but its no running... he says: Please update you Direct X and you Graphik Driver.

i have this: 1 GB Ram, Win7 Ultimate x64. i have Direct x 11, and by my graphik card says: Standard-VGA-GraphikCard. how i can update my Graphik card in my VM?? or, can i put in the VM my Computer-Graphik Card "nVidia GeForce 8200"?

  • it gives me an error stating that my product key is invalid, but it did take it before do you know why this happens?

  • @Shadowphoenix33 maybe because its used befor have you deleted the older OS. ??

  • @730844 no that is not the problem, it was a new one... but anyway i got me a xp professional as an.iso file now so it works. but i got a new error. i wanted to add a few lines of code to the configuration file but if i want to start the VM now it states Syntax Error line 1. i know it should read "something".encoding="windows-1252" but i dunno what that something is i must've accidantally deleted it when adding the code lines...

  • @Shadowphoenix33 try reseting the code lines to their default if you still remember them if not reinstall VMware

  • @730844 it's not a problem with the vmware just with the operating system... can't u just open the" vm ware virtual machine configuration "(should be 3kb) with wordpad and tell me the first line? it's the only problem it should read the same for everybody...

  • how fast can it run if i make 2 virtual machines and with same online game on each vm's plus i also run the same game on my desktop provided i have dual core 2.8ghz with 1gb of ram? btw i like ur vid alot

  • @keifcade well the CPU is good but 1GB RAM is weak for running 2 virtual machines because it consumes lots of ram the only way is to use it Via 2 computers

what is the main OS. of your computer
