  • Great band! Wicked to see [and hear!] - jugband music being played with such gusto .. Class!

  • Great Music!!! I want 2 marry the beautiful fiddle player!!! I'm In LUV!

  • The music:Yes!The bloody,infuriating clapping:NO,NO,NO!

  • Yeehaw! You all are really, really good.

  • This music is pure, unadulterated joy.Thank you all for your performance!

  • i've just discovered you tube and am exhilarated that someone is playing such great versions as yours of my old records, and i shouldn't have thought f was much of a mandolin key till i heard your version and then played the dallas string band record. my insomnious trawlings also yielded snakeoiljass which you might enjoy. anyway keep up the good work and happy trails.

  • So lovely!!!

I'm curious, is that a Martin guitar?

  • I think it's a Washburn from 1915

  • yup!great number1

    tnx

    ciao

    giorgio

  • You are great. Your smile, your fun is demostration of your love for music

  • :Q__________

  • BRAVO!!!

  • GET EARTHBOUND

  • woopie, finally an earthbound reference on one of these videos, i was like...GOD do any of these people know what earthbound even is, but then you came along :D

  • My little dog is humoresque.

  • what's earthbound?

  • an old game for the snes, its full of pop culture references and contriversial (spelt wrong) copyright infringment. well really it depends which way you look at it but i wont bother getting into both sides of the argument. but earthbound is very awesome

  • Absolutely traditional-fantastic!

Reminds me of the original by Dallas string

band. Pete Kennedy also played a sublime

    version solo mandolin ca 1985.

  • Yumi, you perform exceptionally well together with the band. Keep it up!! and hope you'll always post videos of your upcoming performances.

  • I can't believe this, "Dalls Rag" was on a Folkways LP (was it Vol 1 "The South") if I recall (its been decades)by the "Dallas String Band", and it's an excellent performance, if the world was fair, this video would be #1 for 4 weeks now and not some pop fluff thing that the radio is clogged with

    Keep up the great work

    Yves Francois

  • Divine indeed!

  • Aw geez, it must have been so annoying to have someone clapping completely unrhythmically in the middle there!

Great job, everyone (except the person clapping)!

  • Hey Ron!

I gotta agree with you about that unrythmic clapping! But, I enjoyed the video and music inspite of it! Musicians usually don't have much control over enthusiastic audience members. 5 Stars for the BAND!

    I love it!

  • ha ha! I was just glad someone liked it so much they wanted to clap along. You made me laugh out loud saying "Great job, everyone (except the person clapping)!" though.

  • I thought of saying, "Great job, everyone (except Navin)"... but thought the reference might be too obscure!

  • great version! I'd say this is just as good as the original recording.

  • A Jug Band and Dallas Rag, what more can you ask for !

    LOVE IT ! 5*up

    Peace.

    Urban

  • I'm lovin' it! 5*

  • Karen, I love it too, thanks for sharing !!!
