@youdragon, autotrac just means the drive shaft is allways spinning. If you can put it in 2wd and spin the shaft with your hand then you don't have autotrac, either that or you will have push button 4wd and one of the options will be auto4x4 or some crap.

2 things youre gonna wanna watch out for

the 10 bolt rear axle in those trucks is weak

and might wanna put ladder bars on in back

i got a 98 and put the rcx 6 inch kit under it runnin 37 inch baja claws

swap to a 6 lug 9.5 inch semi floater 14 bolt "bolts right in" and throw some ladder bars under it so you dont make your leaf springs look like the letter S lol

all that i know of that is that the lift will work i dont think its a must to have auto 4x4 i got procomp and it said nothin like that

its a 6in lift with 2in body but the 6in procomp lift came with everything i needed, took me 3 days to get it on but after that it drove like a champ no problems so far

no the trucks dont have it.... auto trac is when the 4x4 kicks in automaticly and you only get that option in the denali's i think, and i wouldnt go with the rough country go with the dick cepec its a much beter kit thats what im getting for mine !!!

yeaa i did that but they look like flat black paint with no clear coat. its looks like matte black it looks shitty. and i did do them inside. ohwell they do still look pretty sweet

i got the same truck but a 98. with a 6.5 inch suspension lift kit. and a 3 inch body. then i cranked my torsion bars up another 2inches and put some 4 inch super lift springs in the rear to level it out. its got a total of 13inches in the rear and 11.5 in the front but it looks perfectly level. and i just put some 38.5" tsl swampers on it. shits tits. lol nice truck man. and i noticed that your service engine light is on. mine is to. lol

go to o riellys, and by a 10 dollar rattle can of Night Shade. did it on my 97 gmc sierra and it looks great. wash the lights off real good. and make sure its not cold when you paint em. take em inside your house or something where its about 75 degrees and put ONE coat of it on. let it dry for about an hour and then put em on. perfectly legal and looks damn good!
