well- i thought season 6 was great. the girls hanging out together - the core group.  i also thought the writing was creative and spot on. thanks to the cast and crew for bringing this ground breaking entertainment outlet to life. thanks for giving us a show where words like "lesbian", "gay", "bisexual" and "transgender" were used so openly and freely. i guess some lesbians just can't be happy. oh yea - i had a lover like that once.

I would say don't watch the final season because for me the L word ended at season 5 and they should have left it at that because season 6 is total shit the writing is fucking discraceful!

Please! I have a question. I recently recieved season 1 on DVD (never seeing the show prior to this) but i was told i would love the show. I'm watching the season right now actually (on episode 10)

My curiosity got to me, however, and I youtubed the season finale and heard nothing but horrible things about it.. Now I was just wondering is it worth it for me to get the other seasons and even watch this show at all or am I just setting myself up for dissapointment?

The 1st and 2nd seasons were the best. I would see those and then go to season 5. That would be all the seasons I would see. The rest of the seasons are stupid

I think the show is good till season 4 (apart from jenny going mad, Max and some other things). Season 5 is not bad, season 6, apart from 603, is quite bad...but overall it's an interesting show, quite different from anything you've seen on tv.

Watch it!!! :) Season 1-5 are fantastic! Season 6 is a bit of a let down but I think that was in part owing to the fact that it was done in 8 episodes and everything was a bit rushed etc! But you should definitely watch it, it is the best show I have EVER watched, honestly! I think the fact that both gay and straight people love it stands testament to how good it is!

I loved the ending. I knew Jenny killed herself. I did not see anyone as a muderer,lol. I wish I would have seen more of Rose Rollins, and I love the ending when all the ladies were walking and Jenny came. I thought that was so beautiful. So family? But I wanted to see more of Talice. And I wish Tasha would have dressed up at the end. Becuase she is so beautiful. She is the most beautiful woman on the l word.

Oh dear girl, we weren't talking about that ending. It was poorly written and depressive and not in the spirit of the show, but there's worse. The problem is that TLW hasn't ended yet. It runs every 7 days online with the most gross 5 mins that you will ever watch in your life. How long do they acctually plan to feed us with those clips? 2 months, 3 months? They have some nerve! I guess there are 8 persons in the homicide unit getting interrogated so if each one speaks only once then 2 months.

The interrogations are the most God awful things I have ever seen! Somebody posted the Tina interrogation on youtube and I have been debating with people that the interrogation is like a Tina character assassination; it's nothing lke her charcater! I wish I had never watched it!

I guess the fact that Jennifer Beals wasn't on that party was a political statement on her part. And I ADMIRE her for that. If she's bound by some contract so that she can't say it publically, she boycotted it by not showing up: it was loud enough. I'm disappointed though that Marlee came to the party.

Actually several of them have stated that they have been disappoined with the ending! And all of them, particularly the core cast, put everything into their performances! Jennifer, Laurel, Leisha and Mia are incredibly talented! But I agree with you, I think that Jennifer and Leisha in particular did not attend because they are hugely disappointed with how the final season unfolded! The others feel the same but perhaps felt compelled to go for the sake of the fans!

It's like when someone turnes down a prize because (s)he disagrees with those who give the prize. I am disapponted that she accepted the prize, so to speak, but it was her right to make a decision for herself. She has deserved everything good, that's not even a question. I wish she joined Leisha & JB in the boycott, nothing else.
