Excellent practice tempo for knocking out the kinks. But this song is purposefully and so fittingly named Presto Agitato.
You need to imagine that you are going to chase someone and strangle them when you get to them. As fast as you can as 'agitated' or aggressive as you can be, all with minimal error. You are on the right track, keep up the good work; but know that everyone else that learns this song spends days upon weeks, upon months to learn this song and years to perfect it.
you were playing it like adagio CONSIDERING how its SUPPOSED to be played. however, like you mentioned, under the circumstances, it was actually pretty phenomonally. :)
@felixbruinsma Yeah, I think he played the first run like 4 times or something. I know he said he didn't have the book or whatever, but he might have been better polishing it up first, I mean, you need to be pretty brave to attempt this, because while it is manageable, to get it perfect, that's a different story (I don't even know what 'perfect' is to be honest, Wilhelm Kempff? Valentina Lisitsa?). Anyway, you might want to practise, and then upload it again to show progress.
Actually... I haven't seen the piece in forever, but there are about four seperate parts to it... my bro has the sheet music, but yeah there are three seperate parts, but I'd have to see if those are actually movements. :/ so yeah... it's the FINAL movement whatever number it is :/
Wow, it's kind of like Phantom of the Opera...where's the hidden mastermind behind the music? *gasp* Only his hands have ever been seen....and even those were but a blur. 0_0
I love it. I want more! ^_^ I also want to learn this now...hmm...
Awsome pipe. I didn't know you played. I also play Piano :D Though I can't read music very well. I taught myself and play by ear. I've written quite a few of my own peices. That was impressive tho!
Thanks Sin! People who can play by ear are the most amazing musicians. i've tried, but I can't play a thing by ear. I'm a slave to music. Heh, I haven't even tried to write. You should play some for youtube and get all dramatic about it.
