I 've seen both versions and after watching the cut version, I didn't get with the impression that Ron Paul had walked out, either. He was asked about those newsletters and he gave to each question an answer that seemed not to fully satisfy the reporter since she kept asking over and over about the same. Any journalist should know that the interviewees have perfect right to answer how they please. In my opinion her insistance after having been given a direct answer was impolite and rude.

Ron Paul was the Pennsylvania state champion in the 220 yard dash, had a personal best in the 100 yard dash of 9.7 sec. at a time when the national record was 9.4. People want an explanation, not just a denial. Ron Paul is a great communicator so at the very least when he makes short quipped denials he should embellish and speak to the humanity of WHY those sentiments are wrong (and not his). Even if he didn't write them personally, he is responsible for what was published under his name.
