@Sunsaber Yea the first two are bass hits and the other two are another drum. Its actually a common fill, its easy but it sounds really cool and you can change it up. I think in this video he does something like, bass bass, snare snare, bass bass, tom tom, bass bass, floor tom tom. Then he ends with a snare hit and crash symbol. So basically you can do what ever pattern as long as you start with two bass hits and every time you hit another drum TWICE hit two bass hits in between.

Don't mean to nitpick but during 2:23 its tom skipping and I've seen the real drummer in disturbed doing it and its okay how you did it, it sounded alright, but its a double tom skip meaning you hit two at a time while your doing that little solo. I'm a drummer myself and it's kinda difficult.

I dit not, to be honest; i can't =P

When I did this take, my snare was brand new so I just tuned it by ear.

Bottom snare tight ass hell, batter side so, that it just rolls nice.

But now I have it a little bit looser (batter), because if it's too tight, the sound becomes even more crappy.

New heads can do magic!

And don't underestimate your resonance heads and ye snares!

That's a €500 B/B shell and it sounds like crap! Just because it has all the stock heads on it and so on...
