@YOUNGVICK313 It's got a West Bend 820 which is an 8.2 cubic inch 2 cycle engine that came out in 1962. US Motor Power still makes them today. They make about 11hp @ 8500 rpm with a tuned pipe. As you can hear in the video, the clutch on this kart/engine is set up to lock-up around 5500 rpm which keeps the engine revving in it's power band. Your right, it's a little lazy down low when the clutch is slipping but once it locks up the kart really accelerates.

LOL The only differerence is we didnt run this time :P.. i run from cops all the time.. its really simple build a fast reliable kart and run away as fast as u can screwing down streets and into woods.. lol i road my kart for a straight week 2hrs a day open header with my 6.5hp and i got over 60 police calls of me driving around my neighbor hood check my new video out.. thats what i would do when or if u see it and i would go way faster and farther.. i ended up havin to wait a week under cov's :S
