I downloaded the multiplayer thing from psn a few days ago, its great. The death matches are a hide and shoot type gameplay. I'm completely horrible at it, but still manage to get at least 5 kills per round. If you don't have it, and have a ps3, go get it now.

Same here, uncharted 2 and gears of war 2 are all in the cover based shooting style genre so your supposed to take cover like that and pop out and shoot. Your supposed to throw grenades like that and the melee is different, you punch and kick in uncharted. In gears you just use a chainsaw to slice a locust in half lol. They have similarities but thats the genre. Then gears ripped MGS if what you say is true.

beta was great while it lasted, I thought that it might be just one of those other Multiplayer add-ons where they just slap on a sloppy, sluggish multiplayer, although I did have trust in Naughty Dog. The Multiplayer Beta didnt dissapoint, great fun, great weapons, grenades a bit too overpowered, but overall a great beta. Cant wait for Uncharted 2.

no way, the multiplayer uses the combat style in the first uncharted and it also has a very different feel to it. Its not a gruesome yet satisfying chainsaw and huge gun game. Its more realistic and honestly has more potential than that. Naughty Dog is anything BUT lazy. They are amazing devs that have a great reputation and sure know how to develop on the ps3. It has its own modes, heck there is way more than just the 2 in the beta and each one is new and made to fit the uncharted feel.

Your right it does have climbing and jumping which gears doesnt have, but most of it looks and feels like a gears match. I own both systems dont get me wrong but I have seen how to change weapons, firing from cover, melee, and grenades works and it looks like its just a ported version of gears of war, if you look at that its just Gears of War gameplay with a few twists in it :I. Im a Gears fan NOT a 360 fan, so I will have to see when it comes out If its a ripoff then I wont buy it GO EPIC GAMES

the uncharted 2 beta is really really fun! but you have to play it as an uncharted game to make it fun. what i mean is don just stand in fron of te enemy n shoot until one of ya is dead, use cover!blind fire while runin (badass with the pistol) and jump jump JUMP! i think the thing that sets it apart the most is the fact that the whole platforming in the game actually works, somtin ya dont see in multiplayer games. my only complaint is that i wish there where more places to climb in the maps.

Thanks for the video, I got beta with inFAMOUS. Honestly, I'm really disappointed. Verticality, except for some ladders, is very, very limited. The experience itself seems cheap. I only hope that the multiplayer does not reflect the singleplayer campaign.

awesome multiplayer! only lvl 3 so far. played 4 games. the beta include a deathmatch with 2 teams and 25 points to win. and the other mode is "capture the flag" with an artifact placed randomly on the map, and your team need to fetch the artifact 3 times to win. Both games are great, and the cover, climbing and jumping really works. definetly gonna get the full game when it comes
