To the guy who said that the bear will one day kill him. Under most circumstances I would agree with that statement. A wild animal should not be domesticated. If a animal can be rescued and rehabilitated without taking away its wild instincts and fear of humans it should be. and certain species are more likely to turn on there owners aka non-pack animal predators. However every animal is different and any species will have those whose nature defy instict and genetic makeup.

Casey has built a Grizzly bear preserve in the mountain pass out side Bozeman Montana. The preserve is home to rescued domesticated Grizzlies that are dependent on people and can't survive in the wild because they lack the skills. Brutus and his brother where given to Casey after birth from a zoo and others were once pets. The preserve teaches people how to be safe in bear country and always reminds people that Grizzlies are dangerous and not to be taken lightly.

Timothy was an extremist that went out into the woods "bear territory" and stayed in a tent surround by wild bears that saw him as an intruder or easy meal because wild bears are opportunists that eat whatever temps them. Casey does not live in the wild with bears, but rescued domesticated bears that have depended on people all their lives and can't survive in the wild. Casey raised some from birth and has a family bond with them.
