  • is canadian

  • Byron James John "Dewey"/"The Missing Link" Robertson (RIP) later was one of the guys who trained Sean "Val Venis" Morley.

  • That stupid hick hillbilly jim ruined the commentary! How irritating!

  • It said it was his debut but Vince says" he continues his winning ways" and alsofans have signs for him so was it really his debut?

  • The man was 68. He is not an wrestling statistic.

  • Rest In Peace Duey.

You have left us way too soon

    It'll Never be the same

  • this shit is stupid! *searches UFC*

  • This debut illustrations one of the many valuable things about having a manager. The crowds hates the holy hell out of the Missing Link before he ever does a damn thing. Why? Because a protege of Bobby Heenan is no friend of theirs. A manager lets the audience know immediately where a man stands.

  • it was a no brainer that the turnbuckle would come off, just look how loose the ropes are. lol

  • i think the missing link doesnt wanna wrestler?

  • R.I.P Umaga

    joking!

  • The link wrestled sd jones in MSG in his debut. Good vid though.

  • The missing link looks good at 46 years old here.

  • didnt he spit sum kinda poison in your face?

  • @trip247365 Maybe you're thinking of Killer Kahn and his green spew. I don't remember the Link doing that.

  • Hillbilly Jim should be an auctioneer!

  • Heenan was one of the WWF's most hated, yet strangely more popular figures during the 1980's & 90's.

    RIP Dewey Robertson - 1939-2007.

  • Who was the unlucky jobber...missed his name.

  • strange that mcmahon did an interview during a the Links debut, should he not have been putting him over instead???

  • Heenan said in an interview that Missing Link expected him to actually be his manager, take care of all his travel arrangements, etc., Heenan told him "Uh uh, pal, I walk to the ring with you, after that you're on your own"

  • Jim was out in prepping for the angle where Heenan's manager of the year award gets beaten out when Hillbilly gives all his votes as manager to Captain Lou.

  • how long did this guy last? Cause I don't remember him.

  • it wasent his debut

  • I remember wwf debuts

They used to debut every 3 days for a month or so

  • LOL Cant figure out who the oppenent is......

  • Jimmy Londos

  • Now this is when wrestling was still wrestling.

  • Steel City's own is Dewey Missing Link Robertson is hardcore!

  • Wow, I am glad Link had such a strong debut match. Great gimmick.

You're right tidbit, there was no need at all for Jim to be out there during this.

  • AdoribleAdrian - Thanks for posting this, Link's WWF debut in 1985 was about the time I started to follow wrestling at 10 years old. I don't think I ever saw Bobby Heenan pull one of his men off someone.

  • Devastating squash match indeed! How dare the "big dumb hick from mudlick" take away from the link's debut.

  • R.I.P Duey you are sadly missed
