This will always happen when you use 12 volts on a cell. See my video "HHO voltage on a diet" You never used more than 3.3 volts DC.

@hhoforvolts Do you mean the pitted surface? The average voltage in the capacitor driving the reaction was about 4 volts.

@Shanjaq I went back to look at the first video..............it was a mistake on my, I thought you were running a HHO cell on 12 volts, and when you do that, you damage the cell and the water looks the same, sorry for my mistake.
