  • really enjoyed it..

  • The Woman is racist... telling the woman to think about rice patties...

  • Comment removed

  • omg the girl sounds australian, american and british all at the same time. how can she even do that?? they should scan her brain.

  • its party not patty

  • beacause predictions of the future come from the past duhhhh

  • The wifey at 7:00 sounds dumb! Shame cos she must be intelligent

  • that girl's accent confuses me

  • @chikaxox yeah seriously, her voice annoys me, she speaks clear english, yet she cant say "party" hahaha, so much for being at harvard.

  • @chikaxox [Cringe] It's a New Zealand accent morphed into a Canadian accent. Typically flat New Zealand sounds like when she says "party" "past" or "activity", and typical Canadian "o" sounds, like when she says "so", "thought", "to", or "coat" (She studied in Auckland NZ then Toronto Canada).

  • yup, very strong scottish accent. sounds like edinburgh or stirling accent. well spotted!

  • Do no believe him!

Jesus didn't came yet, this man is from the devil!

    Jesus said:

    Revelation 22:12

"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done."

This man didn't give to someone Heaven of Hell, he is just sick.

  • Yeah, that's good. Make sure this time you speak about it with your mouth on your face and use words. Make sounds with your mouth since we care.

  • the narrator's accent is driving me crazy

  • could be worse - he could be french ;)

  • hey Prof Addis is my lecturer! wow~

    She's great!!

  • she is great. i have read many studies by her and didn't know she was so young!

  • i'm baffled, he don't have memory yet he can speak, read and write..

thanks for the great video btw

  • different types of memory. in theory he may be able to learn musical instruments, new motor skills etc. he's lost his "conscious" memory which is split into semantic and autobiographic memories.

incidentally hippocampi also have evidence of "grandmother cells" or gnomic neuron, which are activated by certain objects. there is a halle berry cell, sydney opera house cell, and even a jennifer anniston cell! not only do they fire to faces of these people, but also their names! (spelled in words)

  • what's semantic?

  • semantic is "factual" memory. for example knowing what a fork is and what you would use it for. that information would be stored in semantic memory while memories of events which involved using a fork in the past would be stored in autobiographical. . . . . .

  • .....It would seem obvious that the two were linked if not the same construct, however interesting studies - such as the one in the video, supply evidence that suggests otherwise. many people who have lost their memory at a young age can still learn new skills, but just now be aware that they have. for example slowly learn how to play an instrument such as piano, but if you ask them if they can play, they will say "no never" and yet sit down and somehow play. it is very interesting indeed.

  • registering the time line. Memories of the events and episodes. Like a party or a visite of the Disney Land or the event like a wedding.

  • Where's the rest of it!!!?

  • There's a third part, idiot. :P

  • Prof Addis; Boston-Aussie accent? Thx for posting Bastis.

  • No - just a really really bad Boston Accent

  • SaintCog had the same thought as me - her accent (the vowels) sounds as if she grew up in Australia
