They put in print for ya; The UN hope's and pushes for a global unelected government. I personally make sure that as many people as possible overhear my conversation with another. I speak about the globalist agenda, calmly, rationally, matter of fact. I've noticed that there are a lot of people that know what's going on, n r getting ready, but then those, by the look on their faces, are just finding out. Inform the public. No matter the msm, the people should know better

Religion causes more trouble than it solves. Often just a means to brainwash everyone and does little to preserve purity, peace and goodwill to mankind, when those that are preaching such statements are very much impure themselves. Man want's to preach to god, do it on your own, in your own space because no doubt someone will want to control you, by means of forcing their beliefs onto you. PEACE!

@damien Them flip flopping is because of public condemnation, you know, people using their voice to express their dis-content. Hate crime laws, free speech; it's an oxymoron. In Canada, free speech is "far from perfect" as you say... You either have it or you don't. Comparing free speech in Canada to that of other nations with dictators, etc is absolutely ridiculous. If you want that, then move to those countries or defend yours. Be proud of your freedom, and all those that died fighting for it.

@damien People will feel the way they do n see things they way they do whether or not you give them the right to free speech. The KKK, radical Islam (not Muslims), all have a grievance, their voices should be heard. Who is to decide what is allowable to say or express n what is not? Should it be you to decide which millions of people should just shut up or face jail time? We all have a right to our voices, our opinions, n we certainly have a right to express them without the being charged for it

You're right on your example, telling others to murder or kill people you don't like is a criminal act and should be prosecuted as such... I don't see the fence sitting though, sounds to me that you are for free speech.

However, if someone while in the process of exercising their right to free speech directly incites others to murder, rob, rape, etc (illegal activities as you say which are legitimate crimes), then yes, they should be prosecuted as a result. The hate speech laws are being used by the powers that be to silence one group over another, depending on who's "feelings" they are trying to protect, or if someone is "offended". It's bullshit

Anyone care to address the origins of the term 'hate speech'? Religion is at the core of quite a few issues, but the stylized secularists (ref: Volvo drivers who are interested in firing you for possibly offending someone) have taken control of the media, schools and the workplace. I'm not a very religious person, but it has it's place. Other than race and sexual preference, religion is the primary target of the upper middle class who want us to be working, but not seen or heard.

Religion is the target of not only middle class and upper class. Also, as for the workplace and school, you should be working and not be talking about religion.. As for politics, this should be kept away from work. It's not a matter of not seen or heard. It's a matter of the right place and time for things. VFx, wanted to preach in the workplace, any logical person knows, you become a priest for that.

I won't disagree that those aren't the appropriate places for the subject. But, with the power those institutions have over our sensibilities, I just find the derision to be over powering. There's power beyond 'their' intended purpose.

I'm not really very religious, and I haven't been directly effected by this. It just seems as though I can feel it taking hold over peoples minds and lives.

Yes, religion is always taking up a part of peoples minds. But lets go aside from that and look at the person for others reasons. If they that is all they wish to talk about then right away you know they are consumed by it, and a simple answer could be: I'm not interested in the topic.. But in a way, I look at religion like technology, it can be used for positive or negative reasons. Use of the negative should be prohibitted, no choice. Ie: a start would be removing tobacco industries.

The thing about hate speech is that you aren't the one that decides what is hate speech. My thoughts on the war of terror could very well be anti-american hate speech for someone else.

Critics have claimed that the term "Hate Speech" is a modern example of Newspeak, used to silence critics of social policies that have been poorly implemented in a rush to appear politically correct. Others will simply use it to silence, without any intention of being accurate, in many variety of topics. You are right, what may seem like hate speech to you might not be for another or vice-versa, but there still needs to be a general understanding. It is complex, and there are different levels.

Hard to stop hate speech because people may post things that may ask for hate speech. Reason being,the internet is an open source for info, etc.People who post dumb content, etc are asking to be hated on by blunt critics. Religion is another subject that asks for haters because not everyone thinks the same. To get people to stop hating requires everyone to understand you can disagree without getting personal about it and to understand, there needs more regulation over what's garbage. Prevention.

Like Politics now &in the past I believe that religion is a way of controlling the masses into a belief system.Those at the top of these belief systems like the Pharaohs/Roman leaders/Royals/Dictators & other World leaders use their Agents&Literature (& in modern times) TV/Internet to promote their set agendas. In order to show their rivals & the masses their particular dominance they like to play the masses off against each other like pawns in wars/disagreements & by contolling free speech.

The video targets almost exclusively religions (actually deviations of religions which are presented as religion) and does little to address the secularist oppression of religion throughout Europe which has even denied education and public appearance to Muslim women. This secularist wave is precisely the same which claims our Western backed terrorism (Al Qaeda, Talibans, Saudi jihadists) to be "Muslims".

@germanicus24: Well, it would appear that religion is one of the hot buttons when it comes to world issues & a person's right to discuss it openly. This video was not meant to blast anyone or address oppression of religion, but it was put together to show the varying opinions on one of the most divisive issues: religion. And that everyone should have a right to speak openly & freely without threat of violence. It is about free speech on any issue & all issues. That was the point of this post.

There are a lot of things that divide us from each other, but hopefully, we can focus on the things that can bring us together for a better understanding towards "our fellow human beings" world wide.
