Oh my word, thank you for uploading these things. I'm taking the test in about a week from now, and the situation is rather ridiculous. I'm only taking it to be able to teach English in high school, and the reason I need to take it because English isn't considered my first language. (Even though I speak, read and write it far better than my first language.) These videos were very helpful in letting me know how to respond and what to expect.

I don't know why shouldn't i make comparisons, but i take your advice, and believe that i would get a lower point if i make that mistake.

I felt you try to use a different voice, different way of speech when you are making the examples. I was a little distracted; am i supposed to use terms like communicativeness? (Which i don't say every day.)

You are ery welcome! I hope they can help you. Really the reading section has been a surprising challenge for TOEFL students this year. My advice to you is to try read through practise texts in one of TOEFL preparation materials offered by the major publishers.

Thank you for you question! In the case of the independent section, the answer is no. You don't have time to compare two options. I have seen lots of students try and do it. They simply either get lost halfway through or they end up taking far too long.

Focus on one option and talk about it with two supporting points.
