Thanks Bobby -- we can see part of this international video was filmed on the famous Wakefield Quebec covered bridge which crosses the Gatineau River, another river in peril:
So sorry about the fish in the Clyde. Our rivers deserve better.
Well done great lyrics and all so true... Unfortunately our leader Alex "Salmond" is totally indifferent to the Clyde and the wholes sale slaughter of the few remaining species supporter of the commercial fishing interests to stay in a job.. and the last contributor Mr djdavyc1 has no idea of the destruction caused by these commercial trawlers. With rod and line fishing if you dont want it or its to small the fish can be returned alive back to the sea to trawlers kill everything by the thousand
So true but we all need to take responsibility for the current situation. Rod and line fishermen (of which i am one!) Had a part to play in all this and still do! I the hayday of nice fish and big catches people took too many fish often wasting the catch. Species like Conger Eels and Dog Fish were brutalised for the sheer sake of it! The commercial sector still causes the most damage by far with beamers and dredgers and their is no sign of them letting up. We need to take Norways example!
