Thanks for watching and leaving a nice comment. Sunday's at the port are great for watching the ship's leave port...but not as good as waving to those waving back!

How was the food on the ship? I went on Monarch in may and the food was not all that good.

Hi and thanks for your comment. I've sailed the Freedom several times as well as the Monarch. In my opinion, the Monarch, since coming to Port Canaveral in December, has definitely improved on both food quality and onboard service. If you haven't sailed on a Freedom-Class ship, it is worth your time and money. Great ships!

We were on the top deck just above the bridge in this video. Absolutely amazing to see all the people linning the shore and the tugs to send us off. Nearly got deafened by the horns going off just behind us. One of the most memorable and moving moments in our lives. Brilliant. Thanks guys and gals

Thank you for your comment. I was able to get on board to cover the Inaugural event and then dash right out to Jetty Park to wave bon voyage. She was a sight to behold. Hope you enjoyed your cruise.
