my one complaint about this guy is with the shield, out of the package the little clips have stress marks on them from being squeezed around his arm. If they were going to make the shield not attach with a handle, why didn't they make something that would actually form around his arm?
as a collector u shud know...ANY type of misprint, color change etc is ALWAYS worth more....and since they re released him with everything fixed, collectors want that 1st release because they can say "hey i got the 1st one"...and also because his production numbers aswell as beastmans were very low making them VERY scarce
Great Review! Neat to see the old figures compared with the new. I was 10 years old back in 1981 when the toys came out and had all of them. Keep it Up man!
hey dompose brettzilla here listen i'd like ta make a request for a marvel 101 review could you do a marvel 101 on cloak and dagger i would so love to see a cloak and dagger 101. thanks.
It's great to see some MOTU toys and reviews keep it up I had the original ones when I was a kid as I was a huge MOTU fan. More He-Man and Skeletor items thx.
When I was about 3 or 4 years old I had a figure that looked exactly like Skeletor. 7 Years later I shot that figure with an air rifle. 2 years later I started collecting comics and toys...
Not proud of the air rifle part. Awesome review Kevin.
I have seen a couple of episodes on He-Man, have not read the book yet.. But this review is awesome. Thank you for bringing this on. Dcompose would make an awesome superhero too.
@idonthaveacoolcar haha i had always said the samething of this He-Man figure, about the red eyes because of the coke. another thing its probably thanks to cocaine, that He-Man is "the most powerful man in the universe".... cocaine does tend to lead to an ego boost almost god-like in nature...
I bought the re-releases a few years back and my skeletor was 1 or 25000 or something. I guess he was the first toy manufactured in the line. just the luck of the draw I guess. Maybe I'm wrong, I have been known to be an idiot. but it did say 1 of 25000.
Great review Kevin, I'm thinking about getting just these two figures for christmas, even though I never seen the He-man series, I just really like the look of those figures. Anyways excellent job!
the new toy line is alot better but I still think the 80`s ones are cool

It has been 20 years since I last opened a He-Man figure box...He-Man was one of the cartoons that I grew up with when I was a kid.
I have some old photos of him playing with the figures with me. Good memories.
Going to get a few of these just for the nestalgia.

Do this guys have the rubber line to hold the legs together? because they always broke

Nope, no elastic bands used, they are pretty much done up in the DC Universe style.
