Thanks, man! I was scared to wrench on the battery door, didn't see how to take it off til your video. What an upgrade this camera is from an xti.. ESP w/ the 50mm 1.2 =O
dont know if u know or not but you can store the battery cover that you take off on the grip its self for safe keeping as there is a slot designed for it :)
There is a place for the battery cover, in the part of the battery grip your stick in the camera. If you store it there you will allways have it with you if you for some reason would need it. and you will never loose it...
someone might have brought up already but the battery cover u removed from the camera and putted in the box, there's actually a place to keep it inside the battery grip, actually made for that. it's on the side of the part u insert in the camera. If you take a close look there's a spot with the same shape, so just click in there and u'll always have it with you. good clicks!
@wrightwayphotography another information! when you bought a bg-e7 dont put the battery tray cover to the box! why? its because the battery grip has a pocket on the right side in where you insert the battery side in the battery tube. the purpose is so that you may not loose it unless you really loose your own camera! =) nasty! well that sucks if you do!
I just thtought I would mention that there is a place in the battery grip to store your battery cover. the piece that sticks into the battery compartment has a little slot on its side in the shape of the battery cover. I would recomend storing it there rather than leaving it in a box somewhere.
man this camera grip is awesome...i'm so stoked to get my 7D next week! the zoom lens, battery grip and spare battery are going to have to wait until january and for now i'll just be learning on a 50mm but i think that will be good enough for now...i can barely sleep i'm so stoked to get this camera!!
Yo dude, If you look at the side of the part that goes inside your camera, there is a place where you can put that thing that you took off the camera. Yup, It goes right on the side. Try reading the instructions XD it will help you! Thanks for the video!
Dude, that grip has slot to store that battery door. Also what eye piece you are using as it looks more comfortable than the one that comes installed.
Thanks for this. I've seen in other videos that there is a compartment in the battery grip for the camera battery cover, is that the same with this one?
is that a 24-70mm l glass?
