  • is that a 24-70mm l glass?

  • how come my light on the camera is orange?

  • Thanks, man! I was scared to wrench on the battery door, didn't see how to take it off til your video. What an upgrade this camera is from an xti.. ESP w/ the 50mm 1.2 =O

  • YOU CAN PUT THAT PIECE IN THE BATTERY GRIP NOT IN THE BOX......

  • nice man keep it up :DD

  • Thank you for a thorough demonstration.

  • is it made of the same material as the camera? Magnesium alloy

  • dont know if u know or not but you can store the battery cover that you take off on the grip its self for safe keeping as there is a slot designed for it :)

  • What is that eye piece you have fitted? I am really looking for a good one!

  • what kind of viewfinder did you use in this review ?

  • There is a place for the battery cover, in the part of the battery grip your stick in the camera. If you store it there you will allways have it with you if you for some reason would need it. and you will never loose it...

  • Do you loose rear AF-ON focusing when the grip is on?

  • is your top LCD panel green ?? mine is orange ??

  • great battery grip. i want one as well, but probably not gnna get the BG-E7. too expensive.

  • I had a 350D with BG, and its sick, almost never charged those batteries. I had a canon and a random battery and it lasted for like, a long time...

  • sucks! the battery cover youve removed can put inside the battery grip. check the manual mr. wright

  • someone might have brought up already but the battery cover u removed from the camera and putted in the box, there's actually a place to keep it inside the battery grip, actually made for that. it's on the side of the part u insert in the camera. If you take a close look there's a spot with the same shape, so just click in there and u'll always have it with you. good clicks!

  • hey dude

what kinda viewfinder have you got on your 7d? thx

  • nice vid. but 199$ :O:O:O thats soo expensive :/ i love my 7d too :D thx for the vid

  • it sucks that it wont work with just one battery :-(

  • Excellent job Steve, I can't wait to get mine!

  • 8:25 XD

  • @ianidiber LOL!!!! <_o HAHAHAHAH

  • can i use it with only one (the standard) battery as well? or is there a need to buy the second battery? thx

  • @BlueShirt7 you need a second battery or 6 double batteries

  • @wrightwayphotography not realy. you can use it with one battery!!

  • @wrightwayphotography if i may correct that: you CAN use a second battery, you don't need one! :)

    nice unboxing vid!

  • @wrightwayphotography and another thing you dont need 2 battery in this! you can still use it even you only have 1 battery.

  • @BlueShirt7 you only need one battery.

  • @BlueShirt7 You can use one or two batteries

  • @BlueShirt7 yes it can be used with only one battery.

  • @BlueShirt7 you can run the pack with only one battery.

  • @BlueShirt7 U can use 1 battery, in the right position only

  • @BlueShirt7 You can use it with just a single battery.

  • you see that long stick thing on the battery grip? there is a slot next to that to put the old "battery compartment door" thing in.

  • hi dude.... let me tell u something.... there is a holder to your battery door or what u call it... on the batterygrip

  • yo yo yo it's acropcamerrra,OoooVa nite yo

  • Thanks for the review and especially showing how to fit.

  • @johnsoncp13 I have just bought one having watched your video. The battery cover that you remove fits inside the grip so you always have it with you.

  • Awesome video. Used it to figure out how to put the BG-E4 grip on my 5D haha. Thanks!

  • Nicely done! Thank you for being so thorough. You just answered all the questions I had about this grip. =)

  • @AHanselmann thanks glad i was able to help

  • love your channel, steve!

man this camera grip is awesome...i'm so stoked to get my 7D next week! the zoom lens, battery grip and spare battery are going to have to wait until january and for now i'll just be learning on a 50mm but i think that will be good enough for now...i can barely sleep i'm so stoked to get this camera!!

  • @ryleeee congrats man

  • actually inside the battery grip there is a place that you can attach the battery door so it can be 100% safe

  • Yo dude, If you look at the side of the part that goes inside your camera, there is a place where you can put that thing that you took off the camera. Yup, It goes right on the side. Try reading the instructions XD it will help you! Thanks for the video!

  • Dude, that grip has slot to store that battery door. Also what eye piece you are using as it looks more comfortable than the one that comes installed.

  • GREAT WRITE UP, Also nice camera and len combo EOS 7D with the 24-70 len cool !!! Can you tell me what tripod are you using ??? thanks

  • hey where did u get ur eye piece?

  • @BlankMessageTV it's made by Hoodman
