Is the strange topknot original to the organ? I imagine not because the upper parts of the side moulding have gaps where the original one was meant to fit it. Where did the current topknot come from?

@tregnier279 Yeah I don't think it is the original either, its hard to see on the video, but the outline of the original is still there over the swell shutters, it must have been damaged and was replaced with this. The hose to the swell shutters has a crack in it and was too short to cut out the bad part. so they were not opening.
