A marvelous, sad song. It paints very economically, and beautifully a picture of a man with a self-defeating view of love. Hunter's voice is soulful, the arrangement is the epitome of minimalist perfection, and the guitar solo is pure, simple brilliance. I can listen to this one over and over and never grow tired of it.

He's mates with mates of mine in Saaf London guv'nor. At the time I met him I'd never heard of him nor his music. He was a really nice, likeable person. So then I saw him on TV and such. He's the real deal. Good to see him succeed, and by the looks of it, his timing couldn't be more perfect. Or, could it be, he started this whole revival? I'll let you finish that sentence....
