My favorite song of all time from my favorite band of all time. I could even say it helped prevent me from killing myself. To know that some other people are out there, who hurt as deeply as I have, it strangely helped. I think of Neurosis as kindred spirits, their music is so very emotional: painful, beautiful, ugly, uplifting, depressing, inspiring. Thank you Neurosis, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
It's so funny, I've been into post-rock for a while now, and metal for much, much longer. And I've just been getting into Neurosis recently. I feel so stupid lol, they should've been my favorite band for years now.
My gf and I just heard this on the radio and we were floored. We just kept driving until we could hear the whole thing and then searched it online. Amazing!!
NEUROSIS is a pillar of metal. They are truly an original band that has among many things built their own genre. Humble, powerful, epic, sprawling, dense, heavy, tribal, beautiful, graceful, delicate, psychedelic are a few words that describe the band. They are an enduring collective of almost 25 years! Here is to 25 more...
this is no longer simply organised sound.

This song is so heavy in emotion, and not in a pussy way. I love it.

This song is so great. I hope someone makes a video for this at some point like the one someone made for "Burn".

Wow, no radio station in my area would ever play Neurosis, unless it was like one of those satellite/XM stations or whatever.
ANTIanitmetalclub 9 months ago
@ANTIanitmetalclub i was just talking about that with someone, there are no heavy ambient stations on satellite =[

Probably my favorite Neurosis song... my god I hope I can see them live some day and let this touch my soul.
Your trail....
Leads to a mine
Of cyanide and gold.
A free-falling darkness
Leads you to yourself...
