If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver" Now obviously the driver is missing, i would have simply downloaded it from the internet, but at the official site for my laptop ( Toshiba satelite L655D-S5152), all it offers is a program that can download the drivers automatically, however this is a problem, because i cannot connect to the internet on that computer. SOME1 PLZ TELL ME DA NAME OF THE DRIVER? THX.

Thanks man! I think this will work as my case is this: removing the wire-less router, the desktop says "unidentified" and won't connect to the internet but if I plug back the wire-less router is all fine and running, and I need to remove the wire-less. so hopefully this will work. I'll let you know as I can't try it at the moment.

Wanted to say thanks this helped alot yea had to restart computer or unplug the modem would kinda work but then net would not work so did what u said and it worked working fast to and i still use vista so i guess works for any computer & net i use is roadrunner high speed internet.

Ahh.. i thought this would fix my problem.. but i didnt have that intel thingy, only one title under network adapters. and i couldnt ping any sites either..

ohwell, guess i'll just stick with playing singleplayer games fro now...

@joggoboggo I would contact your ISP if I were you, maybe they could help solve the problem. If you couldn't ping a website, that means that your modem cannot connect to the internet. Hope it helps.
