@PsykoOps Not new, it was already available at least in some compacts from Nikon a few years ago. The question is... why did they stop using it? I guess it was because it wasn't useful in compacts -specially compacts from 5 years ago- where manual focus was either not an option or not demanded by users. Now, with this new DSLR-like full-time liveview 'compacts' -NEX, PEN...- where manual focusing is more demanded -even so more when people put legacy lenses on them- it's another story.

its says " This function is currently disabled"
