God, I love these old tunes by John Carpenter, the man himself.

He is such an underrated director in my opinion.

Especially his early films are so extremely well crafted.

I admit that this is an unusual but exciting adaptation of the original but I still prefer the original as it has an almost sureal feel about it which when put together with the film almost chills you to the bone and only enhances the film itself.
