I'm not gonna bloat this thread with any comments that elude to the fact that I am surprised that Rush still commands the stage 44 years later. Just gonna say that if you can pick up a tune that hasn't been played since the 80's and play it note for note 32 years later, you are just in a class by yourself. Cheers Rush and thank you for helping me measure the timeline of life by each and every album since 2112.
There is and will NEVER be 3 musicians together as these professional masterpieces have created . Absolutely amazing . No group will come close to what they have achieved . Period ! ! !
Yeah they can still play their instruments but Geddy sounds like he's on novacaine and drooling or something. I'm all for these guys still concerting/touring today but I wish they had chosen older concert footage for the DVDs.
@fttp211 Geddy was fighting a mild cold at this show but it didn't have a major effect, this is still pretty close to what he generally sounds like these days. Having said that, once you collect enough bootlegs from all eras you realize that Geddy could actually be a lot more scattershot with his voice live 30-35 years ago than now. I think he sounds amazing for his age, on some songs more than others and some nights more than others, naturally.
A song that the mass of humanity and Rush fans wanted to hear for decades finally is performed LIVE.. Thank you Geddy, Alex and Neil for performing not only The Camera Eye live, but for performing all of Moving Pictures.. It was well worth the ticket price paid... :)
WTF? This masterpiece has never sounded better! Love the heavy, in-your-face energy they got going here. I never thought they could improve on the studio version, especially 30 years later, but here it is.
All hail ids Photo Enthusiasts!

WOW!! Are these 3 guys the most talented musicialns
to ever perform on a lighted stage!!?? More talent in
Ged, Alex, and Niel's left pinky than most of todays
"entertainers" have in their entire body.
