  • Way to drag your child into this. Your children should be taken away from you.

  • @runningwolfkenpo You must work for CPS

  • Do you have a license?

  • So does the 'right to travel' extend to aircraft too?

Could I for instance teach myself to fly and then move freely about the sky at any altitude with no licence and not bother to contact air traffic control?

  • @lollygaggle The US Code says you have the right to make use of the airspace.

  • @donotconsent83 Hi, thanks for the information. Can you quote the wording?

  • @lollygaggle

49 USC § 40103 - SOVEREIGNTY AND USE OF AIRSPACE

    (1) The United States Government has exclusive sovereignty of airspace of the United States.

    (2) A citizen of the United States has a public right of transit through the navigable airspace.

(now do not be confused with part (1), this part means the airspace over the District of Columbia)

Remember any right the citizens have, the sovereign people also have.

  • @donotconsent83 Thanks, so does this mean that anyone can jump aboard a private aircraft & tarvel anywhere within the USA, even through restricted airspace, & with no pilot's licence?

  • @donotconsent83

Actually the Federal Government has control over ALL airspace in the United States, all States, Territories, districts, etc.

  • 24 TITLE 18—CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

    § 31. Definitions

    (6) MOTOR VEHICLE.—The term ‘‘motor vehicle’’

means every description of carriage or

other contrivance propelled or drawn by mechanical

power and used for commercial purposes

on the highways in the transportation of

passengers, passengers and property, or property

    or cargo.

  • @donotconsent83

Your automobile by definition is a motor vehicle. As an example, in California:

    Section 415. (a) A "motor vehicle" is a vehicle that is self-propelled.

    AND

Section 260. (b) Passenger vehicles and house cars that are not used for the transportation of persons for hire, compensation, or profit are not commercial vehicles.

You CAN travel in your automobile, as long as you are not the one behind the wheel. THAT is driving a car. :)

  • @RetSquid Hi RetSquid, you are correct, the term driving, legally speaking means the one behind the wheel, but a man or woman who is not an employee of the governing corporations is not required by any written law to adopt any legal definition.

Bouviers Law Dictionary 1856 Edition has a very good definition:

DRIVER. One employed in conducting a coach, carriage, wagon, or other vehicle, with horses, mules, or other animals.

Email me, we are finding common ground, donotconsent83@yahoo

  • @donotconsent83

Wow, you must be kidding. You may not like the legal definition but you do have to abide by it, as that is what the laws are based on. Using a definition from decades before there were any cars/automobiles is nonsensical. Whio you are employed by makes no difference.

The legal definition of a 'driver': CVC 305 A "driver" is a person who drives or is in actual physical control of a vehicle.

  • @donotconsent83

If you wish to email me you can use YouTube's messaging system.

  • @RetSquid What ever.

  • @donotconsent83

I bet that is what the judge says right after you complain about the guilty verdict.

  • @RetSquid You wisdom is abundant, you are too smart and intelligent for me, when I reach your level of competency I'll let you know, till then it is best we do not communicate.

  • @donotconsent83

Let me know when yo\u come back to some semblance of reality. BTW, where do you guys get these nutcase ideas?

  • Most dont realize that they have never possessed OWNERSHIP documents.

They only have a CERTIFACATE of TITLE. Lets examine that...

    1) A Certificate of Title is only evidence that a title exist. The real ownership document is possessed by the owner, which is the respective State that issued the Certificate of title.

    2) True ownership documents include, Certificate of Origin and fully descriptive invoice.

  • Please understand that when one registers an automobile, it then becomes a vehicle where ownership is forfeited to the state, in return for a privilege of use.

Whereas the operator of a vehicle is obligated to submit application for a drivers license, which is the proof/receipt of a contract (that most have never read) that was signed/agreed to.

In a nut shell, a vehicle is the property of the state, and if not used according to their rules, it can be reclaimed.

  • remember that if the ticket costs more than registration you may have just fed the beast more money than you withheld. but interesting

  • Cool lady, cute kid. I hope she wins! (She should use the Marc Stevens techniques...)

  • , even if there is a lein on the vehicle , it still belongs to the sitizen untill the "title has been released by said owner

  • statesrcountries, you have it all wrong , a "title" is "proof of ownership" "certified by the state" a "registration is a form of tax ,and "proof that the vehicle was registared" the tags , at least in my state go to pay for repair and replacement of roads in my state , that was the intention for title, registration, and tags" however thats not what they are used for . big difference the state does not own any private vehicle

  • The car was taken because it was registered in the state, and therefore the title of ownership was transferred to the state; leaving the original owner with a "Certificate of Title" which is not "Title of Ownership".

  • She is a very pretty mom

  • If I move up there will you guys come help me unload uhual?

  • Um you can use whatever lingo you choose for the privelege to drive. You still need a license to travel on public roads. She not doing so is a danger to you and everyone else.

  • how

  • beebo02:How exactly does not paying $100 or so to the state make you a danger to other drivers.

  • And BTW,even if you dont pay to renew your registration,if you hit someone, you'll still be tracked down under that registration.

  • And btw, your car will promptly be towed for being unregistered.

  • Yeh.I know that. But what does that mean?Thats a state made consequence. But theres no real world consequence...

  • And if theres no real world consequence (IE:The state wont be able to track you down, the state wont be able to afford to keep your records, etc) the law shouldnt exist..

  • Laws should exist to protect the people.Making us take driving test to get a license is a good law.Keeps bad drivers off the road..

  • No one is saying that cars should not be registered....Surely you are mistaken in assuming that....The point is that vehicles should not be taxed every year through "registration" If vehicle safety is your concern, then let it be done on a case by case basis as defined by preset parameters.

  • But making people pay annually for a service that only needs to be performed once is unjust..

  • I mean, think about it.Where else would this be acceptable? If you hire a secretary to a days worth of data entry, she cant charge you for that next year..

  • oh yeah, and also for your civil disobedience, you're paying a lot more revenue for your state by paying the cop for court costs, court time, etc. So you're actually doing a great job!!!! (backasswards for the point you're trying to make, but still a great job!)

  • Thanks a lot 1eich, you've got me counting the "ums" on this vid. So my question is what happens to the individual who's car she hits in an accident, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle just because she's lazy, cheap, and wants to prove a point?

  • how many umms did she say in this??

  • i would love an update on this

  • the nwo is coming these arguments won't work.

  • I agree with the basic tenets the FSP folks adhere too; however, I do NOT understand how "registering" with the FREE State Project fits into the FSP ideals. It's rather ironic, don't you think?

  • i definitly hear what she is saying BUT....

as a mechanic, i can tell you from personal experience,90% of people wont fix their car unless it doesnt run, or wont pass inspection

people will drive a dangerous car until they crash it or inspection rolls around

registration should be once per owner, but inspect that car yearly

  • thanks for the thoughtful take on this issue nok

  • you are certainly welcome

like your stuff by the way...quite interesting

  • @nokilt1 Americans don't want to punish people in advance of wrong-doing.

If/when found guilty of a crime such as this, isn't one supposed to sue the judge for violation of rights? That's what this tactic is about, right? That's how it's supposed to work: You violate an unconstitutional city ordinance, get prosecuted, then sue the hell out the people who did the prosecuting.

    Right?

  • @nokilt1 Registration transfers legal title of your property to the government. That's the real issue.

  • @nokilt1 the States money? huge amounts of money are gained by the theft ( the fraud) committed against us where states have taken OUR RIGHT to drive and gave OUR RIGHT back to us as a privilege to drive. In essence they have created a system that has lil to do with safety and ALL about profit. I would NEVER give the state permission to do this... no one would. The states silence is fraud. ALL states need to be held accountable for this theft of a OUR RIGHT to travel.

  • @TheBerserker50

You never had a right to drive, it has always been a privilege. You do have a right to travel, that does not include being behind the wheel.

  • @RetSquid in any case, a failed system(s)...

  • I realize that "close" is good for audio, but I think stepping back and using a bit of zoom would have been better in terms of spherical distortion. Maybe a directional mic on the camera? I know one was available for my Sony Handycam, but it broke.

Just a thought. Keep up the good work, RidleyReport!

  • It is -states- which wage war, not individuals. Individuals, left alone, cooperate. That's how markets work. Markets are inherently peaceful institutions, while states are the definition of institutional violence and coercion.

Try Roderick Long's discussion on the subject:

    mises. org / mp3 / MU2004 / Long2.mp3

  • That's why I'm not a "conservative".

You know nothing about business. Only governments can compel payment. Without compulsion, customers MUST be served. Not the other way around.

  • Your limitied mind astounds me as I'm sure it does the many.

  • Without coercion, customers must be served, or there are no customers.

That is why amoral businesses REQUIRE government support to protect them from competition.

And you must think government is run by angels and staffed by saints. Or can you tell me how, by some miracle, you think "government" is the only organization that is inherently moral?

Government is a murdering parasite. Nothing more.

  • "Whatever delivers the profit."

You are making the same mistake over and over. A private firm is liable for any damages they cause. That's why government stopped people from prosecuting for pollution. It was inhibiting their campaign contributors.

Government has "sovereign immunity", which is why police are almost never prosecuted for murder, why Lon Horiuchi is still a free man, why government pollutes worse than any private firm ever did.

  • "Before laws and regulations existed..."

You really have not read anything on the subject, have you?

Pollution was being prosecuted by property owners as trespassing in the middle of the 19th century, effectively. The government STEPPED IN AND STOPPED IT, saying that it was "retarding industry".

Why do you continue to state pro-government myths that have been disproven over and over?

  • "The government said it (environmental regulation) was retarding industry."

Which is essential the same argument that the Bush administration used to kill the Kyoto treaty.

Hardcore pro-business bureaucrats and politicians will make industry interests their #1 priority, even at the expense of the public good.

However, I hope you don't think that environmental regulations were stronger (and more effective) in the 19th century than they are today.

  • You're still not paying attention. The prosecutions for trespass were for ANY pollution, which is far and away stronger than ANY present regulations that merely point out how much pollution is OK.

By what leap of imagination do you think Kyoto is not just more government intervention in favor of vested interests? Merely different vested interests than Bush's handlers.

  • So some people are nasty, private or government. Ok.

Now, government compels "customers", and extracts tribute whether they do their job or not, and uses sovereign immunity when it causes damage to avoid prosecution.

Private firms must serve their customers, or they go out of business, and have no immunity from prosecution for damages they cause.

In which group are nasty people capable of doing more harm?

Hundreds of millions of dead people wait on your answer.

  • Then only patronize those firms that act as you wish them to. They will do so to earn your business, and the business of those who are of like minds.

Government gives no such latitude. Regardless of my disagreement with their practices, I must pay what they say I owe, or be killed.

  • First you say that government is corruptible, flawed and imperfect.

Then you say it "should" do this and "should" do that.

Therefore, you must think that all this corruption can be somehow overcome to do the things YOU think it "should" do. Pray, tell me why YOUR government, against every experience of human nature and history, is going to not be "corruptible, flawed, imperfect"?

I can shun such people in a free market. When they are a government, shunning them will get me killed.

  • I wish the world existed in the black and white contrast that you apparently view it in.

Unfortunately for us all, it doesn't.

Government is a tool for promoting the general welfare, providing for the common defense, and "securing the blessings of liberty" ect.

At the same time governments can ruin lives, destroy people, even nations.

I want to make government work better, be more responsive to the will of the people.

    You want to destroy it.

  • Yes, government is a tool.

"In general, the art of government consists in taking as much money as possible from one party of the citizens to give to the other." Voltaire

You assume that you can make government better. So do I. You are welcome to any and all governance you want in your own life, and I want to be left alone.

The only government model which satisfies us both is no government at all. So long as power can be used to coerce, someone is harmed.

Why not live and let live? Really?

  • Again another unfounded comment.

I love when you do that. Usually I just let you look like a jerk. So where do you imagine that money extorted from the masses, with threat of personal damages & eventually gunpoint, goes? Your sarcastic take on what the free market actually is, is pretty pathetic. I'm actually afraid that you wouldn't even understand if I explained, so I won't waste my time. Just know that you really look like a jerk in front of a bunch of people truly far above your level.

  • Nicely said. I agree. He's a very "in the box" type guy. I only hope he gets to figure out that he's part of the problem, but I doubt it. I've seen many of his comments here before as well and he's arrogant (without anything to back it up)... I suspect you will get more idiocy from him. He thinks he's right, let him imagine he is and see where it gets him. How are the grandchildren? Are they all back from Hawaii yet? I'll bet they had a blast!

  • You sure are entertaining. Thanks for all you do. Keep it up!!! Ha haa!!

  • You couldn't resist either could you? It's too bad he's such a dud. I've got friends in customs, we'll be fine but thank you. We may take our son's plane as well, if it is available at that time. I have to get out on the 805 right now and I'm not excited about it. Well, let's just see what this buffon has to vomit out next. Let's keep talking in the usual way, I'd hate to hurt his feelings (kidding).

  • "buffon"? lmao!

You are so very correct about everything, yes, I got your email; thanks.

    Be careful out there!

  • I couldn't resist either. /watch?v=cTDIeFiFrV4

    Good luck.

  • Lumpsters, you do know he's just a miserable sad little troll; correct? Let's just keep watching his comments. Sadly, perhaps gladly, he'll never change. As for my grandchildren, Hawaii was wonderful. We stayed at the family compund and had a smashing 2 weeks! I'll try to smuggle you that flora from my yard we mentioned but the Feds have some silly rule about it. I'll bring you some in the spring or summer when we come to visit the Free State. Almost 6 AM here. I better hit the road.

  • Are you kidding Suzann? He doesn't even know we're Jewish :p I've already had my fun. He needs to go back to watching dancing with the stars or American Idol, or being a cop or whatever he does. Thank you for all that you mentioned and I'm most pleased you had such a wonderful time! Coolers get high priority in customs, another "extortion" part of travel, you will likely only get away with less the 1/2 of what you bring. Trust me on that. Use the other option we discussed. ttul! =)

  • Awhhhh. Now just because I removed you from my friends list and disagree with you on... well nearly everything, is no reason to feel all sad and angry and whatnot. You aren't one of those oversensitive ones on the internet are you?

  • You are an idiot and a jackass. There, I finally said it!

  • You don't shoot holes in anything but rather you further identify your ignorance in front of a bunch of people who think you are a fool for remaing such. I really do not care for the insults here on youtube but you really ask for it with your ignorance. You really act like a fool who will follow everything that the state or anoyone in supposed authority hands you. That is truly a weak mind. What is even more odd, is that you continue repeating your insanity over and over and over again.

  • "a fool who will fool everything the state hands you."

Yeah, the state should promote the general welfare of the citizenry. I don't apologize for believing that.

Many libertarians believe that the flawless perfection of the "free" market (if only it were allowed to exist!) would lead humanity to some kind of utopia, the land of milk and honey and everlasting peace!

That fits well with your definition of a weak mind.

  • Why I even bothered with you is my own fault. You are one of the most disgusting people I've ever seen on here. Your mind is so rotten, filled with bull and disillusionment that any of these people who truly (and I do mean TRULY) understand freedom, who waste their time trying to educate your stupid self is... well... it is certainly beyond me. You sit and wait for a chance to unload on these people who are trying to save your state but you ignorantly fight and fight.

  • I don't really care though. I'm in California. My state is gone; our freedoms are all gone. I'm a grandmothe of 15 (the worst one gets no less than B's) children and we can not even homeschool here or we get guns and government taking out children from us. You have no idea who and what you say. You were given two ears and one mouth for a reason. You need to learn from these people. You rotten human being.

  • "a better understanding of what it is exactly libertarians believe, why you believe it,"

Yet you continue to ignore every referral to documentation, every suggestion for reading material, and every argument given to you which answers this supposed "desire" to learn.

The fact that I have to constantly refute myths that were pointed out months ago shows that your desire to learn is illusionary.

  • On Snow Removal, since you bring it up:

Why remove the snow? Why are people trying to use fair-weather vehicles in winter, anyway?

Let the local businesses come together and organize removal of the snow from the major roads, where they need trucks to get their products, and then individuals can decide if they want to remove snow from their local roads or not.

There are lots of answers that are not economically viable with government already removing snow. Hayak called that "What is unseen."

  • I suppose if we register our vehicles (trailers etc.) do we not give the state co-ownership? I'll answer with "yes, we absolutely do". What a great scam they have going don't they? I believe people need to show up at her court date. Perhaps to help her get he money back from the state who extorted from her so she could get her property back after they stole it. I like this lady & her attitude. Count me in as a supporter! Let's not let them "handcuff her in front of her daughter".

  • @ 5'54" she says, "I don't encourage anyone to do what I've done, people can do pretty much what ever they want."

I encourage you all to do what she has done, if it IS what you want to do.

  • Great video! Great lady! I love ladies who love Liberty!

  • i just love ladies!

  • Boston Legal had an interesting show on the right to concealed carry the other day.

  • Dave, thanks for the video and please keep us updated on this lady's case.
