What a horrible day that was for our family. We lost my dad that same day to heart problems. We came home from the hospital, slept for a few hours and my brother called and told me to put the TV on. I can't explain the feeling in my soul. After losing dad a few hours before and then the Twin Towers. It was unreal!. I hope and pray we never experience a day like that ever again. Prayers and love to all the families who lost loved ones. Love this song Scotty!! Thanks for sharing your gift!

I remaber that day my mom was watching the news and i was playing with my toys cause I was 6 years old and I heard my mom crying and I ran in and seen it. I still look back and see as the two towers fall. I told her "Gods mad at the people who are driving the plane right mommy" and she said yes. The next day I thought the state office building would fall and my mom told me it was to low. To this day I still cry showing me that life is important and should not be wasted!

People confuse what is talent, what is singing and what is not. Not sure if any of you that criticize have taken singing lessons, or auditioned for something that required you to sing. He has a very deep bass voice, good baritone as well. He doesn't sing off key, flat, or sharp. He sings perfectly for the genre of music and yet he showed some versatility in attempting other songs.This guy will make it big in country. He has the perfect country voice. I don't watch AI, just checking on the winner

i cant stand scotty AT ALL. i have no idea how he made it to the final cause he really cant "sing sing" very well. or at least as good as people who got kicked off. but i did like this song and the arrangement he did at the end. his only good perfomance in my opinion

my godfather lives in san francisco, and his wife was a flight attendant for united. he had a meeting in the world trade center, and when the plane hit, his wife was on a united plane. when everyone went out one stairwell, he went back to a desk to try to call her one more time, and no luck. he went down a different stairwell than the others, and since he did, he was the only one who survived. he didnt find out until 9 pm that his wife was okay. God bless America.

When I first heard this I didn't know what the meaning was behind it. My mom told me I started to tear up because I remember I was in class and it was back in grade 1, a teacher came running into my classroom saying that two planes crashed into the twin towers. That was here in Canada, all I know the next day we had a memorial service for all those who lost their lives. I visited the 9/11 area two years ago and cried

This may be a longshot, but I was only 3. I remeber mom was baking cake. Like it was yesterday. The T.V was on like Disney. My dad calles (he worked it the towers) he says "I think im gone". God heard mom and I screaming. He was already on the 2nd floor. He made it out. He did. I rember mom flipping through the channels to see what was going on. I was 3, I said "They are in God's arm.
