THANKS!!! This worked perfectly. I origionally tried to snake the clog but it didn't work. I tried this method and it worked just like you shown. Thanks!! You saved me a $500+ plumbing bill.
I can't thank you enough for this video. My kitchen sink was badly plugged due to our garb aerator not chewing up food, etc I tried snaking my plumbing but it didn't work. Hit an elbow in the plumbing and the snake couldn't get to the clog. Tried you method and it worked like a charm. You saved me a $500 plumbing bill. THANKS!!
***WARNING*** We have successfully done this 6-7 times, but last week when we did it, the clog was too great. Water went up the vent pipe, up to the roof, back down the space around the pipe, filled up our ceiling and came gushing out our kitchen fan and outlets. Please be careful if you feel lots of pressure on the hose!!!
We have a drain outlet on the side of our house that you can put a snake into. My stupid neighbor was supposed to be snaking out my kitchen drain (just like yours, garbage disposal on same side etc.) because it wasn't working he stuck a cut hose way up inside. A few minutes later he came in the house and said "the hose broke off". I couldn't believe it he had used a soak er hose. The type with hundreds of holes in it that breaks real easy. Now I have an even worse problem . WHAT SHOULD I DO?

It works but a friendly note, if you have any open sinks/tubs close to your sink, cover them! It sent my clog straight up my tub line lol! Nasty.

In case the hose doesn't work, I suggest a wire clothes hanger to reach what ever is clogging up the pipe.

I live in a condo and I don't have access to a garden hose. Is there any other way that you would suggest on how I can clean out that pipe? Thanks!
