i just purchased the app for my iPhone4. it works easily with my dx7 and blade mcx helicopter; however, I cannot get it recognised by my Phoenix simulator. Any tips? I even tried using a stereo to mono adapter with no luck. thanks in advance, mark
@taurustbolt Hi, thanks your your comment! Unfortunately, I don't have any experience of that simulator so I can't say much for this issue. All that I can say is that just play with the settings, hope some kind of combination works...
@ShingleApps I set the phone to airplane mode. I tried changing the volumn and the signal bar within the flybar settings...no luck. I like the program, and would think you could pull in more sales if the Phoenix use was confirmed and instructions included.
@poerik Thanks for buying the FlyPad! Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the accelerometer. This feature is coming later, actually. Just wondering why you would like to turn it off?
@Daniel99908 Hi. FlyPad is an iPhone app which generates PPM signal. You connect it to your RC-plane transmitter OR your windows PC using standard 3.5mm audio cable.
Yes, you can use it with Flight simulator X on PC. You have to install a driver which emulates joystick. Installing details can be found from our website. (Link in the infobox)
FlyPad uses iPhones accelerometer for controlling channels. You can also use touch screen joysticks and switches.
@theflyingeagle1 Hmm.. It works with DX7 so I thought it should be work also with DX6i. Did you try with moro or stereo cable? There might be some problems with stereo so I recommend to use mono cable.
@theflyingeagle1 Nice to hear that you are almost ready to fly an amazing simulator flight with the FlyPad! Hope you will get it work also with DX6i :)
An update for FlyPad is coming soon. The compatibility and signal quality will be a lot better. No need to play with the amplitude slider. Only full volume is needed.
Our gift is not just the only one iphone4, Got it! p0fe accuc.info

Having to have a real transmitter sorta kinda defeats the purpose donchathink !!??

so you need a 3,5mm to 3,5mm wire an iphone (works with ipod touch too?) and a transmitter or win pc is that correct?

@convex26 Yes. FlyPad works well also with iPod touch. Transmitter or Windows PC is needed too. Thanks for your interest!

@poerik If you want to use joysticks instead of accelerometer, you can swap the right-joy and accelerometer channels together ;)
ShingleApps 1 year ago
@poerik TIP: You can swap the channels with right joystick and accelerometer so you will be able to fly without accelerometer using two joysticks ;)
