  • just some constructive critizism: it is written as a " jazz march" think you could do a better job of articulating the entire piece "jazzy" as you did in the "D" section(1:08) and getting a better rhythmic center in some the beginning parts more namely the wood block parts.... but overall great job it sounds really good... i just bought this piece at TMEA and im playing it in two weeks, so look for my vid soon

  • Thank you for you comment. You know what, I also saw the print music in TMEA in Feb in San Antonio. May be we see the same one.

  • Solid playing - well done :-)

Did you play this piece for DipABRSM or LRSM exam? and may I ask the reason you slightly altered Gauger's recommended set up for the piece (i.e. triangle on its own stand instead of clipped onto the music stand; two cymbals instead of one)?

    Thanks.

  • yup, it's for exam. but the recording was taken like a year later after the exam. in real exam, i clipped the triangle onto the music stand. but for this recording, just i cannot find and clip.

i put two cymbal coz of the sticking problem. it;s more convenient for me to set up 2 stands

  • Interesting. Thank you very much for replying.

  • 非常精彩的敲擊表演,但為何要將燈光調暗?
