  • man im in Austin and i fished my ass off this summer and its cause of the drought i didn't catch many this summer... and i always catch my bass ... i was a lil upset but more upset we lost alot of our fish this year

  • do you have the diwa megafoce combo?

  • Where exactly is this place? message me!!

  • was this a private pond or a public pond

  • @bassmaster101Sr Public. Every fish caught in every vid is from public waters.

  • @HatCamBass what is this place called??

  • Where in Texas are you... I Fish local ponds in missouri city

  • @HatCamBass what?

  • Nice pigs!!!!

  • what camera are you using for your hatcam?

  • @fishingdaybyday Flip Ultra

  • Nice vid man! Im in texas too the drought is killing us! cant find a pond in miles!

  • worst part is were still in the drought the little bit of rain we have got hasnt helped a thing

  • One of our lakes dam broke and the water level went way down, and we caught so many fish because it was so shallow

  • that looks bigger than 6 14

  • That is a hog!

  • funny you caught a 6 lb 14 oz and the vid is 6 mins and 14 seconds long

  • stocked pond.....you not fooling me

  • @jcorlieon Nope. Try again.

  • Nice fish! What do you think of the bps extreme rod? I'm thinking about picking one up

  • @COliNT42 I loved the one I had. Great rods.

  • @COliNT42 they are good but if i had a choice i would get a skeet reese rod or a carrot stix wild rod... they are the same price but i like them better

  • Great catch! That thing is huge!!! I woulda believed you if you said 10lb! Hahaha Looks bigger than most 10 lb other people have claimed to have measured lol. Awesome vid!

  • @xaytube Thanks for watching!

  • Great edit on this one!

  • Great Video I love it!!!

  • Great video!

  • Great video! I love that you are showing the actual weight. I'm been fishing a long time and laugh at the weight most fisherman claim in pictures and videos. I also love how you showed some structure - like the drop off- when the water id low. Awesome good!

  • @kindabad17 Thank you. The weights aren't really THAT important in the grand scheme of things, but I do like to be as accurate as possible. I track weights to try and gauge the healthiness of the waters I fish.

  • I hope that lake didn't dry up.

  • @AudioTechnica35 It's been a few months since that vid was filmed, and the water levels are slightly lower today but still fishable thankfully.

  • GOOD SHIT MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its funny that u caught a 6 lb 14 0z bass and the vid is 6 mins and 14 seconds long nice fish icaught my personal best lmb today off a jig

  • How heavy was the bass at 1:15

  • @USCisbeast22 6 lbs 15 oz

  • Where is that?

  • Awesome filmmaking skills!

  • Ur scales r off he was at least 7 dude

  • @bassinassasin21 This scale isn't certified, but I do check it for accuracy pretty often. It's fairly accurate...give or take a few ounces here and there. Thx for watching!

  • nice!!

  • Wow, another great video Jeff. They get better and the fish get bigger every time.

  • nice vid man......its was like the same this summer in oklahoma fishing sucked and still kinda does but its cooling down.....alot!:)

  • like!

  • Extremely nice bass. When I lived in Oklahoma I'd make a little map of my favorite ponds during drought years and refer back to the structure patterns, creek channels, and so forth when the level was normal. Hope you get a break from that drought soon.

  • Not only has there not been any rain this summer...I can remember week long stretches where I didn't even see a cloud in the sky! Brutal.

  • Nice fish! You guys still have no rain?

  • @pelletgun12 Not a drop in months where I'm at. Some areas had sporadic rain a couple weeks back...but that's it.

  • @HatCamBass Holy crap! Someone has gotta say a prayer or do a dance or something!

  • Whoa that bass was huge it looked well over 6 lbs though

  • What part of Texas?

  • @johnnysal The DFW area.

  • @HatCamBass Awesome, me too! Still trying to find some good, consistent largemouth-spots, though.. Haven´t really had any luck so far, 3 small bass is all i got :/

  • Dam nice huge bass at the end... And good idea on recording the structure on the low water

  • did he live

  • @Sports675 Yeah, fish swam off in good health. It wasn't out of the water very long, and I never let bass touch the ground (or any other surface) when I can help it.

  • Very nice video. Enjoyable to watch. Good work.

  • 4:47 correct me if im wrong but that barrel has bullet holes in it. Nice video

  • @maplestar67 LOL, perhaps. Never know what you might find in a public lake such as this.

  • Nice touch with the weather condition annotations.

  • 90 degree water? eh

  • @FreshwaterAngling here in texas 90 isnt that high it gets to 100 and in shallow water in gets boiling hot

  • wow some awesome footage and bass.....great job..

  • same things happening in kansas man..

  • damn

  • Just proves a lipless crank isn't just for cooler weather.

  • @Bluebuzzkidd I can't stress this enough to people. I use them successfully year-round...in all sorts of conditions.

  • I wish I could catch bass like that
