  • Ezio's song :D

  • I wish I lived in the 80's ._.

  • @Oollolliepop Me too! :D

  • LOL "Sparkle Motion"

  • Şuan benden başka bu şarkıyı dinleyen varmı acaba

  • Look at them hot ass brunettes!!! Damn!!!

  • underrated song...

  • R.I.P Biggie Smalls!

  • I want this song and the other 2000 great songs from the 80s and the other 2000 ones from the 70s, in my funeral. Kids today are not inferior they are just totally unlucky for not being there in the 60s,70s or 80s, well at least you should listen to all of this music on the internet.

  • I'm here because vevo...(¨¨-¨¨)

  • Sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion!

  • Sparkle Motion FTW

  • muito boa essa musica!

  • Notorious is one of the best DD albums

  • I'm here because of Biggie! RIP!

  • @ElliotYAY I'm here because of Duran Duran...

  • Yeeeah!

  • I love being a teenager...listening to music like this, so awesome. I wish I was around when this was on the radio all the time. All the crap they have on today can't compare! I think Paula Abdul did the dance steps for this video. Fantastic. The bass is so funky. JT rocks.

  • Duran did a superb rendition of this at the O2 on 12 Dec 2011- Not only talented musically but saw what was coming way before N of the W scandal. The tune is quite catchy too...

  • And The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi... Funny how politicians disappear every 4-8 years but damn good bands are around forever...

  • i need this blood to survive..

  • Do you also remember this in donnie darko? :D uknow, "sparkle motion", aahh, great movie.. (:

  • @MultiAwesomeanna YES AWESOME

  • @MultiAwesomeanna yep, it was a nice surprise :)

  • rip biggie

  • donnie darkos playing i sleep during it but...the dance with this song woke me up and was like "OMG THIS IS MY JAM!!!"

  • SUPER HIT

  • Kickass bass on this song.

  • Nile Rodgers is fcukin' beast! you can hear CHIC all over this joint! loves the original hates the one by the posthumous biggie. What Diddy does with Bernard Edwards/Nile Rodgers' original compositions and others is criminal

  • Зашибись!!

  • @lokesoleg what ?

  • something about this song that makes me just wanna dance!!! Not an overly big DD fan, but dig this track

  • Doby didnt mean to kill, he meant to tame for srsly injure.

  • I love how hardcore rappers have used music like this in their songs. Notorious BIG made an "original" song. hehe Is there a popular rap song that DOESN'T sample original music? hmmm

  • @khh1964 the gilbert o'sullivan vs biz markie lawsuit killed sampling for all but the wealthy. people like puff daddy (while not the only offender) started the trend of really lazy use of pop hits.

  • @deejayalemus oh wow, thanks for dropping some knowledge :D

  • @khh1964 cool beans ^_^

  • Hey I'm 117 years old and I freaking love Duran Duran. I mix it in with my Metamucil

  • @ihateallofyoufuks I like to rub DD on my bum-bum when I cant poop- hey dya got any Adam n the Antz? my gammy leg is acting up?

  • Compare to Silver Convention - Heart of Stone

    watch?v=bvduWUgG5vE

  • Who in Earth is Donnie Darko?

  • @the235count

    you must be new.... -_-

  • @the235count It's a really good/confusing movie! :) And this song is in it. Haha

  • @the235count its a movie

  • listen to that halo pad synth in the back ground

  • One of the best from Duran Duran

  • This song reminds me of when I was a kid. How daddy use to force himself inside of me. I don't know whether to cry or come.

  • @christlicker What's wrong with you?

  • @Crasson08 That's what daddy said. :(

  • god this brings back awesome memories. great song.

  • Donnie Darko is a wild ass movie.

  • Yet another amish pop hit

  • Sparkle Motion <3

  • now.... this is it

  • Anyone here that came here and said Biggies version is better needs to get slapped. I love Notorious B.I.G. like anyone, but Duran Duran started this song. The original is ALWAYS better.

  • biggies version is better

  • na na na notorious yeah

  • funky!

  • Let's Control the 80s tonight

  • Absolutely brilliant

  • Happy Birthday Simon Le Bon !

  • people over look what great musicians DD are by judging them as a pop band. Great musicians in the various line ups. Although when they didnt have john on bass.... that was rough times.

  • I just saw them live in concert at the Windsor Ceasar's Casino in Ontario. Legendary! They've stil got it! And they have a new album coming out! I'm 19 years old.

  • watch?v=bs7Ur81Z6Qg

  • Love, love, love this song!! Love, love, love my boys!!

  • Back in the 80's we had Steve Jobs, Jonny Cash, and Bob Hope. Nowadays we have no jobs, no cash, and no hope. But damn it, we still have Duran Duran. It's a beautiful world.

  • @ftwd3893 Funny! You gave me a laugh (sad but true) at 12:55 a.m.

  • Sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion.

  • @KevinandSergeLPs Chut up!

  • @Pradadevilll That's a product of fear.

  • @caltake1 But I am afraid. Really, really afraid. But I think you're the fucking Antichrist.

  • best bass player, best keyboardist, awesome singer = Duran Duran

  • Why do you all think you're so god damn cool because you're xx years old and you like Duran Duran? Nobody gives a fuck. Music is music.

  • @Ejwoods08 Whoa....cool down there, old-timer xD

    BTW: I'm 17 :) xD

  • @Ejwoods08 Completely agreed, about time it's said!

  • @Ejwoods08 Well said...

  • @Ejwoods08 My apologies, but I don't think you quite understand the musical wasteland kids now grow up in. I remember being a teenage Duranie in mid 2000s and even my teachers thought I was weird because they were all too young to have been Duranies themselves. It's swimming against a major current and unlike the older punk and goth bands, there's no eternal teenage aura of cool with listening to DD, you just get picked on.

  • @LittleEmoDancer PISS OFF U AGEIST COW

  • @TheDouglasProject So, defending the teenagers really upsets you that much? How about you just be happy because you've had DD for 30-odd years now while us young ones have to piece it all together from history books and the memories of others while dealing with people like you who somehow think we're inferior because we weren't alive when they first came out. You seem a lot more ageist than me, mate.

  • @Ejwoods08 you're so right!!! tired of those fucking kids...

  • GREAT MUSIC

  • I really want to learn that choreography.! It's really sexy.

  • I absolutely adore this song..

  • I'm 15 and I love this!!!

  • this song makes donnie darko an even better film

  • ahhh.... so this is where Biggie sampled that song from. :D

  • love it, great .

  • Donnie Darko

  • This clip is as sexy as all hell.... Fantastic music and a clip that makes all current soft porn music clips look tacky in the extreme.

  • FABULOUS!

  • @clemsonbloke sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion

  • best eva !!!

  • Is there a rap version of this song?? I swear i heard it today...

  • @TheFreakFromNextdoor Yeah, it's Notorious B.I.G.

  • @ChopinSRN Thanks! :)

  • i hate advertisments, COME ON I CAME HERE FOR THE MUSIC NOT ADVERTS !!

  • John Taylor really nailed on the bass line for this song ! I´m a great fan of his plying style !

  • @yadek8 Yep! John Taylor is a very very good bassist! His stuff when he was with the Powerstation was great. He worked with Bernard Edwards from Chic. His line is the business!

  • El tio Carvi y en voz y aro ritmico , claudio falsone en bajo ! Aguante Graffiti pop de ROSARIO

  • holy cats John looked so damn hot in this video....it should be illegal for a man to look that hot

  • The main girl in this video is Christy Turlington - a super model from the 90's.

  • Yeah! fuck vevo!

  • fuck vevo.

  • 14 year old when this came out!......think nick is still hot

  • No-No-Notorious ! <3 hum... Sexy ! ^^

  • The Durans hit #2 in Billboard, 1-10-87. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

  • hahahahaha love it. my secret pleasure growin up.

  • OMG! Nick looks so unbelievable in this video!!! Great Song! Wish they still had this quality in the music today. I'm only 18, but in my eyes, not everyone today can truly match up with Duran Duran's ability and talent for creating music.

  • @dBeauch92 OMFG!

I thought i was the only one ><

  • Is it odd that I associate this song with arson? As in, burning down people's houses?

  • I'm in love with every girl in this video! At least, one among them would want me

  • Sparkle Motion!! Why did I find this?? ,, I''m going back to my "Donnie Darko" obsession phase,, LOL,,

  • I can't believe I was 9 yrs old when this came out...I still remember it like yesterday!

  • I remember hearing this song in Club Nexxus in New Orleans in 1985 when I was 19. My favorite song from Duran Duran.

  • Notorious was released in 1986 so it is 25 years old.

  • yall !..it s so hard to define which song is the best from this OMG band!...they are just brillant!!...yo yo yo yo Notorius....

  • Unique voice, music fits that voice, and this song is good, the Taylor Brothers play damn well to! But being called "the next Beatles........uh.....NOT!"

  • BIGGGGGGGGGGGG! LOL

  • The move NOTORIUS BIG is really interesting because then shows how one of greates american rappers ever reached out the TOP too...before it starts, this melody is the main calling attention of the move..that s what I think..

  • ily duran duran u guys are awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TEENS STILL LIKE YOUR MUSIC ALTHOUGH ITS 20 YEARS OLD :P

  • @0046339 That's largely due to Donnie Darko.

  • I still bump this shit! Windows down, volume earthquake! THAT'S WHAT'S UP!!

  • I just LOVE this song!!!

  • From this song took the name NOTORIOUS B.I.G ( THE RAPPER) cus he he was a fan of duran duran !

  • i hate selena gomez's pumpkin face

  • the first song I know from DD in 1986 bcz my brother keep playing this when I was 6 years old, and then I realize JT is cute :P

  • no-no-notorious ! the best song of duran duran .... i'm italian , my english isnt much nice ! lol

  • CHRISTY TURLINGTON!!!

  • SOMETIMES I DOUBT YOUR COMMITMENT TO SPARKLE MOTION

  • Duran Duran, Kasabian, Police, Blondie, Beatles, Frankie goes to Hollywood Frick Yeah! I'm 15 and i'm considered 'different' because i don't like Justin Beiber, Glee, ect. Well this music kicks the crap out of today's music. Where did it all go? :(

  • @Gigimolly11 It's gone to Hell in a hand basket.

PS. Vote for SPARKLE MOTION <3 Not Pedro.

  • @Gigimolly11 Go for it. I was considered weird when I was your age because I wasn't into Acid House and crappy dance bands. I was into The Beatles and The Doors, Elvis, The Turtles - everyone from the 60's. You like some good-quality 80's stuff. Ignore the others. You have eclectic taste. Rock it out.

  • @embojitsu

Haha, you're the first person who's ever said that to me. Thanks :) x

  • @Gigimolly11 .. im the same way.. i love duran duran , the police , u2 , rolling stones, the who , frank sinatra, and all the classic.. but not all the music today is bad.. i just think pop music ... sucks now... with people that use autotuning... but to answer your question.. i think the music industry know just focuses on money and doesnt care about quality music...

  • @Gigimolly11 Ya, I'm 17; I like older women! Where did it all go? :(

  • @Gigimolly11 I completely agree. I'm a bit younger than you and this is what I've been raised to. I'm the one who always gets crap because I happen to be more on the creative side by writing music and because I listen to all genres of music from the 70's-early '00's. What's happened to society today? -_-

  • @Gigimolly11 you sir/madam are teh SHIT!!

  • @Gigimolly11 Frankie Goes To Hollywood? Don't make me laugh.

And Kasabian is today's music, but it's not that there was no crap music in the eighties.

  • @DeBomValt

Oh no - I agree. There's bad music in every decade. It's just in my opinion.. Even the rubbish music in the 80's is better then some of the crappy things that are out today.

  • @Gigimolly11 I grew up on Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Beatles, Wham!, Depeche Mode. All awesome. I'm 40 years old but Justin Bieber is the REAL DEAL. Get over it.

  • @voguevixen fucking pedophile.

  • @hippoet Believe it or not there is a specific term for people who fancy teenagers as opposed to children. "Ephebophile". Please judge me accordingly.

  • Producer Nile Rodgers gave this a funky edge and also plays guitar.

  • God I used to love Duran Duran

  • perfectly good :))

  • ~sparkle motion*~

  • @JTsotherhalf um yeah there amazing

  • Like if you found this from Donnie Darko :)

  • It's totally in my Top 3:

    1- A Matter Of Feeling

    2 - Notorious

    3 - A View To A Kill

The lyrics are fucking fantastic and the melody is magical. THANKS GOD FOR DD

  • this song is so funky chunky sassy soulfull music radio 1 FM! chunky boots zippin up and lacing boots!

  • I Think the Bass Player is Gorgeous :D

  • They had the most gorgeous background dancers for this video but cut them out of live performances because their egos would let allow for it. This dude can't dance worth a damn and he didn't want the girls to show him up.

  • The dancers in this video are gorgeous.

I've always suspected that whoever directed this video is the same person or persons who did Steve Winwood's Higher Love video. It has very similar cinematography, styling and editing. Watching these videos on tv back in the day, I remember thinking that they looked alike-same atmosphere-fashion forward and sexy mode/l dancers--edited against the music. They both even feature Nile Rodgers from Chic playing guitar in the background.

    Anyway--great stuff.

  • @Vadrian7 They also both feature the choreography of Paula Abdul :)

  • Like if The Notorious B.I.G. brought you here

  • Only here becuase of the sparkly dancing group in Donnie Darko... I envy their moves

  • thank goodness for MTV - and now thank you Youtube!!

  • I love this song....

  • B.I.G

  • Their last classic as an actual going concern! Before the retroactive revival.
