That's a sick 6-71N, and I say that due to having about 2.5 million miles of 6-71 experience. At the least you need a set of injectors, probably blower seals, possibly a rebuild. A lot of the inbreds/window lickers in here might think it's "cool," but that is NOT how a 6-71 is supposed to run on a cold start...sorry.

UM,take it from an ex IH partsman,the 2000D had diesel engines hence the "D" suffix . Most common in a '66 would be either a 220 Cummins or a 6-71N Detroit
