  • I think it would have been better to mention, that a regulator MUST be fitted to a HPA tank, BEFORE the remote line. 3000psi will rip the hose apart in seconds. Otherwise good info.

  • @crazysaint222 There would be no way to attach the remote to an HPA tank that has had the regulator removed. It is true that 3000 psi will destroy the line but you would have to try to do something bad to get it to happen.

  • @HustlePaintball I've seen it done to co2 tanks, where people use the remote line as the fill line too, using the on/off valve in the line. If they will try it with co2, some folk might try it with air. especially bottle with a pin valve built in. The thread on the remote, is the same as the thread on many bottles, so would fit directly. Just pointing it out for some of the "not so clever" people out there buddy :)

  • @crazysaint222 Anyone filling a CO2 tank through the remote line should not be allowed to fill a tank. Do not ever do this! HPA tanks have fill nipples, it is the only way to get air into the tank. Trying to fill an HPA tank through a remote coil would flat out not work.

  • i have a tippmann connex remote line for my x7 phenom, so i had my velocity up higher then normal to test if it would help me shoot a little farther which it somewhat did but when i was using the remote line the balls would just fly a few feet but with the tank directly on my gun it shot normally, is my remote line to long, velocity too high, bad air valve o-ring? please respond soon

  • 3:33 Coil remote w/ Gauge, would it show how much air I got in my CO2 tank ?

  • @soladetenis It will only measure the pressure coming through the remote not what is left in the tank.

  • expensive gun... good quality line... but using CO2?

  • @knifekid666 CO2 is still used by many players in many areas. The tank we used in the video is a HPA tank.

  • @HustlePaintball oh i know CO2 is still very much so used but im just saying that you're talking about all this good gear but also talking about CO2, i just found it odd

  • Please help my remote line doesn't have a slide check so here's the problem:

When I unscrew the part of the remote line that is on the tank attatchment, the air doesn't release on the tank so there is still air on the line. Only when I take the remote line off of the tank does it release it's pressure.

I don't know if this is normal, or if it will damage my tank o ring. Whoever can answer please do!

  • @RedVanWithCandy That likely is caused b the valve pin in the UFA being damaged and not closing the tank valve. Unfortunately there is no really good way to fix this other then replacing the entire UFA or remote line. -Jay

  • my quick disconnect is kinda tough to take off help?

  • @KoolBoi815 Are you certain the remote line is purged completely? -Jay

  • i have the quick disconnect and idk how to use it can u help me out and tell me step by setep s it will stop shootin c02 everywhere thanks!

  • @Calebj96la Before you attempt to disconnect the line you must unscrew the top of the UFA that is connected to the tank to stop the flow of C02 into the line, then de-gas your marker by shooting out the excess C02. Then you can disconnect without issue. Let me know if you have any other questions! - Trevor

  • @Calebj96la Where is the CO2 leaking from? -Jay

  • @Calebj96la you have to screw the tank in fast

  • Please reply as soon as possible. Hey I have the exact same model tube that u have it's just that the on off valve will not screw in its not catching. Is there a way I could take it apart and fix it?

  • @sheathe12 I'm not sure what you're referring to - can you email us a picture of what's going on so we can try and help you? -Ethan

  • I had one for my Tippman 98 Custom and it severely cut down my bps

  • @TMoney699 Many people have issues with their remotes when the valve pin is pressed in as far as it will go. I recommend tightening it down then backing off about a half turn to ensure that the tank valve is fully open and the airflow is not impeded.

  • @HustlePaintball wow thank you so much for the timely response. i'll have to remember that next time.

  • i have a spyder espirite which one should i get for it?

  • @usvftw For the Esprit, I'd recommend the Guerrilla Cobra Coil (not shown in this video) - go to our website and search for it - it's currently the best remote coil that's available! -Ethan

  • @HustlePaintball thank you but can i get one at a local store like sports authority?

  • @usvftw You would have to check with your local store to see what they have on hand.

  • Is it bad to fire a paintball gun without paintballs

  • @TheColeman93 No, unlike a real firearm, dry-firing your paintball marker is not bad. -Ethan

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • @HustlePaintball

are any of these the Guerrilla Air Cobra Coil? if so which one is it? and would u recommend it for an a5?

  • @iLivenAmurica No, we made this video before the Guerrilla Cobra Coil came out - the Guerrilla Cobra Coil is an awesome remote coil, we would highly recommend it! -Ethan

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • @HustlePaintball What are the cons of using Coil Remotes

  • @CheleSegura7 Really, the only one would be that feeling of being "tied" to your marker. Some people don't like having a tank mounted on their harness or vest - it does make switching guns from hand to hand a little more challenging, but not really. There are more pros than cons to using a remote coil, for sure!

  • HAAAAYYYY!!! Thank you!!! I have Air Leakage in my Tippmann x7 I NOBODY knows how to fix it (tried everything).

Now I found the solution! With that cool thing I can turn on and off air when I need it =)

  • I got a really big question to ask it's being a pain in my behind. Well I was playing two days the shot me right inside the barrel it was ridiculous. Well the ref. was polite and cleaned the barrel for me, before he took my gun I had to disconnect the the remote and by mistake I didn't shoot the left air in the line, well when it came off the little o ring inside came off as well! and I am trying to figure out if that tiny little ring is the macro ring or what's the name of it! PLEASE HELP!!!

  • @Edipo48 No worries man - I'll PM you a link to the correct o-ring :)

  • Which coil would you recommend for a 98 custom?

  • @Dreyes5150 Any coil would be great, but I would go with the Guerrilla Air Cobra Coil.

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • @HustlePaintball - Thanks alot!

  • Another quick question. Would getting a turbo valve housing save me some Co2? Or is there anything I can upgrade to conserve my Co2 on my a-5? I'm new to paintball and Im not sure what to do.

  • @JDMVi3tboi Is this "turno valve housing" an aluminum powertube? If so, this isn't going to save any C02 and to be honest there is no real way to make the efficiency of the A5 any better, in order to be more efficient you would need to get HPA and a more efficient marker.

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • @Hustlepaintball thanks alot.

  • hey i have a question. I got a remote line and i noticed when i de-pressurize using the slide check valve and when i use the quick disconnect it comes off my gun very easy. i then noticed air will leak out of the quick disconnect end. is this normal or should i bring it back to where i bought it?

  • @hockeyguy12345678 Check the o-rings in the slide check. It should not leak but slide checks are notoriously hard on o-rings.

  • So best thing to do is get the expansion chamber if I'm using Co2? If so I think they discontinue the expansion chamber for a-5 with e grip. So what would recommend if I want to stay using Co2 and not make my gun not to freeze up?

  • @JDMVi3tboi The new A5 will not accept the expansion chamber and it has been discontinued. The coil and mounting the tank vertically on your back will be your best best for keeping liquid co2 out of your marker.

  • @HustlePaintball on an a5 is it possible to run the coil straight from the gravestone?

  • @twostrikeHR Yes, you can remove the ASA and bottom line and use the remote to connect directly.

  • Can it still freeze my gun if I use the coil?

  • @JDMVi3tboi Yes, but at long as the tank is not upside down it will not happen as drastically or as badly.

  • thanks this helped a lot you guys are the best one question do you need to do any maintenance to the remote line other than broken o rings

  • @NooobUnderMeeeeeee Nope, no other maintenance required!

Remember that you can also contact us at support@hustlepaintball(.)com with any questions or comments that you may have.

  • are push button quick disconnect better than the ones in this video?

  • @MessedUpBoys The push button style like the Psiworx Pro-Connect III and Guerrilla Cobra Coil are the best option right now. Easy to use and they do not eat o-rings like slide-checks :)

  • be funny to put one on a pistol or somthin like that !! ;)

  • woah, the middle finger on your right hand is shorter than the other!

  • which remote line will work best with a Tippmann A-5... i am planning to get a stock... but keeping the marker basic

  • @Rubst3r21 Any remote will work best with the marker, as they are all compatible. However the best remote to work with you or anyone at this point in time would be the Guerrilla Air Cobra Coil. It takes the utility and functionality of the QD and Slide Check and puts them together in one easy use button.

  • @HustlePaintball ohhh thank you so much! iv been trying to decide between the guerilla coil and another one. excellent video too!

  • Is it ok to leave the end that goes into ur gun in all the time

  • @jiggyfit13 It will not hurt but you will want to remove it once in a while to clean it and inspect the o-ring.

  • what happens if too much Co2 gets into your gun?

  • @creyativsense Most likely all your o-rings freeze crack and break, and probably some other damage depending on the gun

  • Also, you should talk more abut the pathogen remote with QD, SC, and Guage. I saw it on your guys website.

  • @xXPyropaintballerXx While those coils are fairly solid, the Guerrilla Cobra Coil is a superior product for significantly less money.

  • Can all remotes run on a 4500 tank?

  • @xXPyropaintballerXx Absolutely, They are rated for well over 4500PSI and use all the same fittings as you would find on any other high pressure line.

  • @HustlePaintball

have you tried the kobra line?

I have one and i have not had any problems

    you should try it

  • @deflatable11 We have tried the Kobra Line by K&L air - It is a great product but it is ridiculously overpriced, I prefer he Guerilla Air Cobra Coil which is simillar to the Pro-Connect far more.

  • If you search "Remote Coil" on Amazon and read the reviews, it's next to impossible to find a coil that has stellar reviews. Is this just the nature of the beast? The common thing, over and over and over again, seems to be leaking coils. Is this just from poor installation? Somebody forgetting to replace the o-rings? Or is this a common theme found in virtually all coils? I WANT to buy one, but the negative reviews have kept me away thus far. Convince me otherwise, please!!!

  • @BJAdW It's kind of the nature of the beast, mostly cheap No-name remote coils. Pathogen makes a great remote coil, and if it comes with a leak, it at least has a warranty that will take care of it.

  • You said that the tank should always be in an upright position... what if i'm laying down? Will the tank leak?

  • @KrisaFilms96 Laying down will not impact the tanks performance. The point is that the tank is not carried in a manner that allows the liquid CO2 to get into the coil or the marker.

  • But wldnt it have a kick or a bad reaction to doing it so fast or no?

  • @McCRDR You won't see any negative issues changing tanks.

  • does aybody no if its possible to swittch over co2 tanks with the remote if u run out of co2 innthe middle of a battle?

  • @McCRDR Yes, simply unscrew your CO2 or Compressed Air tank from the remote coil, and put another one on the remote coil, and you're ready to go! Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • My remote line's outer black protective casing has dried up and is falling off, but the pressure hose underneath is fine with no bulges or damage. I also use a remote line cover when I play. Should I replace the remote line? Thanks in advance for the advice.

  • @billyhoyle16 The outer black casing is there to protect the hose from corrosion. Having areas exposed is going to leave the remote susceptible to quicker damage and shorter life. An awesome remote line is only about $35. To be safe, I'd recommend getting another one

  • i got a remot but it dosnt work with full auto. but my tank is 4000 psi and the remote is 3000 psi. maybe that is the problem. ????

  • @valhammer100 a 4000psi tank does not relase pressure at 4000psi, this with both burst your remote coil and break your gun, they are usually regulated to release pressure at 850psi or lower depending on your tank. All a remote coil does is provide an extension from tank to marker so that you can remove the tank from the gun, semi or full auto should not affect this, the UFA (part that connects to the tank) might be tightened down a little tight, turn the on/off counter clockwise a quarter turn.

  • Hey I have a bravo one and I want to use the stock but can't because of my mask it's a jt elite what mask should I get so I can use my stock

  • @gunxperp Stick with any mask that has a softer lower half. I love my JT ProFlex but the Flex 8 is a good option as well.

  • can a remote line be used for nitrogen? i have a tank with 5500psi and an output of 1000.. so can a basic line be used or is this too powerful?

  • @RAMBQNER Yes, they have a rating of 3000psi, which no tank should be outputting.

  • actually i have the first one you showed.

  • i have a $20 version.

  • @TheRaposo2 As long as you already have a slide check you should be all set.

  • what remote coil did you use in the video because i want to buy it.

i have a maddog remote coil and air leaks.

  • @pazon300 We used Pathogen Remote Coils and a Psiworx Pro-Connect III, the Pro-Connect III is no longer available but the Guerrilla Air CObra Coil is near identical.

  • So you unscrew it to shut it off and screw it on to get air flowing?

  • @iloveeatingglue That is correct.

  • I have a T4 and I am looking for a male coupler that connects to the mag, do you know how is that call?

  • Do I have to keep my tank in the up-right position EVEN IF IT IS AN HPA TANK ??

  • @DJSantinnii nope.

  • @DJSantinnii vjstudio is correct, HPA tanks can sit in any orientation with no difference in performance.

  • @HustlePaintball awesome thank you !

  • @HustlePaintball Do I need a slide check adapter if my remote coil already has slide check?

  • what the second remote coil and how much it is??

  • @calinikka4life I've sent you a PM.

  • Hey HustlePaintball, I was just wondering if I should get a Remote Coil first or a Red Dot for my Project Salvo. Which one would help me more during a game? Thx

  • @MultiToxxin A remote coil. A red dot won't really give you a huge advantage, if any.

  • @HustlePaintball i got a question about salvo...would it be any good in speedball? i kno there are better ones but i want it for the mil-sim look regardless XD but i want it to be useful too =/

  • @lolmonkeyz01 Any Tippmann 98 based marker will be of limited use in speedball. They are great markers and perform very well for what is expected of them. Get a speedball marker, and a Salvo! You can play on both sides of the field.

  • @HustlePaintball tight budget =/ but what are some decent speedball guns?

  • @lolmonkeyz01 To be competitive and have a quality reliable marker I would start with the Mini. Anything less than that will most likely turn you off to speedball because you would not be able to keep up or be accurate enough to hit the small targets.

  • @HustlePaintball anything under $200?

  • @lolmonkeyz01 Anything under $200 is just not really going to be worth your pocket change for going into the speedball circuit.

  • So if I have an air compressor it'll work...?

  • @Horton218 Only if it is an industrial air compressor, one that compress air up to 3000 or 5000psi - a regular car tire (150 to 250 psi) compressor will not work.

  • i have mine set up right but when i put air in the hose it comes out of the little hole on my gun? what am i doing wrong? i have the tippmann A5..thanks!

  • @bubblyzon I have sent you a PM.

  • Hey quick question.Bought one like this for my 98c and when i set it up my response trigger doesnt "respond".Do i have to regulate my response trigger again to fit the air that the line pumps?

  • @TorqueGrind The air line "pumps" the same air as your tank, essentially it is just a connector. The air flow might be constricted by the UFA (part that connect to the tank) on/off being tightened down too much. Back it out a quarter turn and this issue should be resolved. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • @TorqueGrind Make sure to back out the knob about half a turn on the tank end to ensure maximum airflow. This should help but tuning may need to be done.

  • @HustlePaintball upp I found out the problem, it was just a bad o-ring on the co2 tank

  • Why is it that co2 continually blows out the small hole in the on/off valve that connects to my tank? if I don't screw it on tight to the tank air doesn't escape as bad, but should it even be escaping at all is my question?

  • @AaronN095 You shouldn't need to crank the screw down all the way. Back it off a little and that's all the way open.

  • @XtheXtrooperX42 All remote coils are basically the same but the easiest to use is the Guerrilla Air Cobra Coil.

  • @XtheXtrooperX42 You can use a remote coil on any paintball marker that you can attach a tank to.

  • are paintball coils universal?

  • @AnAsian2010 By and large - yes. While I can't speak for all of the remote coils on the market, all of the ones that we sell are definitely universal and compatible with both CO2 and Compressed Air.

  • I have recently bought an invert mini, but hpa and nitrogen are not available. can i use co2 and a remote line so that it wont freeze 300$ away?

  • @cbfordham61 CO2 will kill your Mini, a remote will not save it. We cannot stress it enough CO2 will ruin your marker if it is not made for it.

  • At 2:03 that how I always disconnect mine? The line doesnt whip at all? Idk what your sources are but they suck, just a pop and your done and it pops off easy with the pressure behind it

  • @BulletproofSprunk Then you do not have a standard quick disconnect. The standard quick disconnects to not retain pressure. You may have one that has a different release valve like the Proconnect 3, the Cobra Coil, etc. that do actually retain pressure in the line.

  • what do O Rings do?

  • @SkateMonster2 O-rings are seals, they keep air from escaping and leaking out of areas in your equipment.

  • Does it matter what kinds of tanks u use either co2 or compressed????

  • @leftykid3 No, both will work fine with any remote coil.

  • I BOUGHT THE BASIC COIL AND THE SHUT OFF VALVE DOESNT WORK. you plug ur tank in turn the valve.. ok. now i wanna take my tank out and their is still air in their. the pin doesnt move when u turn the valve off....wtf

  • @CarniTHC Turning off the valve does not purge the air, you must shoot it out of your marker first.

  • @HustlePaintball so if u turn the valve off and shoot remaining air out i should be able to unscrew my tank with out co2 shooting everywhere?

  • @CarniTHC You got it!

  • @HustlePaintball i called the toll free number and described it to them they thought it to be a warranty issue?

  • @CarniTHC PM'd

  • What is the best remote line for a m98. Tippman makes one but it's more expensive than the other ones. Would I be paying for the name or quality? Also does the line decrease co2 velocity ?

  • @ZRizik I would recommend the Guerrilla Air Cobra Coil, it is a fantastic remote line.

  • I bought a harness from you guys yesterday from ebay, i cant wait

  • what if i do not use o-rings?

  • @COGgear1000 then you should. if you dont then i can only imagine the problems you run into.

  • Mine keeps puffing with the gun when I only shoot once, like poof poof poof then slower and softer until it basically runs out, is it just not tight enough? Thanks!

  • @Oznikol It might be too tight, try tightening it all the way, and then backing it out a quarter turn. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • Hi, I bought a Pathogen remote line and it started leaking lots of air between the QD and Nipple.. I've taken the o ring out and it looks fine but I replaced it anyway but its still leaking. The Adapter nipple kind of feels loose in the QD. Any idea what could be happening?

  • @Jarwind123 It is under a life time warranty, so please call (877) 298-8188 so that we can get this taken care of for you.

  • Sweet that's a lot of help for me! Thanks for the info hustle paintball!

  • @JIAgaming Glad we could help out!

  • 4 to 6 pounds off the weight of your gun! It's about two pounds to 5 pounds off the weight. No one goes around with 90ci aluminum tanks on their gun. You have to factor in the weight of the stock and the weight of the hose. The weight of the hose isn't that bad, but because it has a spring-like shape, you will have to work more to bring your gun to firing level, and switching hands is even more difficult. Don't ask the seller of a good whether it's a "worthy purchase." It's not worth it.

  • @Thatmakessense356 Do you have a remote coil? You obviously don't know what you're talking about. I have one and trust me IT HELPS. Oh and BTW it does take significant weight off the gun and no you don't need to work hard to raise the weapon because of the coil at all.

  • @999lifegoes Yes. I disagree with you that it helps. I have a ~2.25 pound 68 4500 psi tank and find that leaving that on my gun, using it in place of a stock to hold the gun against my shoulder. In my opinion, trying to use your "other" hand and use a remote coil is very distracting. It pulls on the coil, and since the coil is "spring shaped," it immediately fights to get back into place.

  • @Thatmakessense356 Well,then...Your remote must suck serious balls;sorry for the expression but I have NO and I mean NO problems with mine and it sure as hell it does not snap back because it is spring shaped,It just behaves like a regular hose.

  • hey do we need the adaptor to connect the coil i didnt buy one and it is coming online it is for a a5 tippman gun

  • @triplezzz20006 Almost all remote coils should come with everything necessary to work on your paintball marker, you shouldn't have any issues. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • do we need to have the adaptor i bought a remote in amazon but not a adaptor it is for a tippman a5

  • i am just getting the $30.00 one.

  • Have you guys ever made a tutorial for a Tippmann 98 Custom Pro response trigger sorry yes I know it's off topic I follow your videos and I can't find one

  • @AAVince2513 We are currently working on a 98 one, but it is going to be identical to the installation on a Project Salvo (which we have a video of) :)

  • @AAVince2513 I have sent you a pm.

  • just have a quick question about maintenance. do you lube the o-rings, and if so, which o-rings do you lube? because I heard that if you get lube inside the tank valve, the tank could actually explode.

  • @NiCkK018 No, the tank will not explode if there is lube inside if the tank valve. Lube them all, if you lube most, but not some, you will have more problems with broken o-rings.

  • amaizing!

  • Hi, I have a Rap4 basic remote line on my Tippmann A5 with H/E E-Grip. The problem is that the first time I tried it on Full Auto, the line froze. After a minute the gun shot 6 more times and the line froze again. And without the remote line the gun was shooting perfectly. Why is my remote line not working? Would it be better if I just use an expansion chamber instead of a remote line ?

  • @electri8 It's gotta be the fast rate of fire using CO2 causing this to happen, is your C02 tank completely vertical in your harness or vest? If not then this is definitely the problem. Honestly, instead of bothering with an expansion chamber, it might be a good idea to switch to HPA, this problem will no longer exist and your shots will be consistent and accurate.

  • Is the QD just a small piece you put in another? I mean, is there nothing holding it in there like a lock of some sort? if so, wouldn;t it just fal out all the time?

  • @BlasphemousVince The male portion of the Quick-Disconnect goes into the female portion, and the collar on the female portion locks it in place.

  • I have a very basic extreme rage remote coil, can I replace the quick disconnect with something a little better?

  • @pyroguyus0009 As long as the replacement is 1/8" NPT threaded, then it will work.
