SinDrome 6! What an amazing eye and ear you have! This film means more ot me than just a campy musical from my early youth. You captured the "Magic" of the film as I always viewed it! Actually,Tom King is credited as the one who started the group,spun-off from his previous band Tom King and Starfires,but it is his younger brother Don(who I have known for the better part of a decade)that had a large hand in getting Tom started in the music business and helped his younger brother to create the band that would be known as "The Outsiders".Unfortunately, history hasn't given Don his due, which Tom King confirmed for me while I visited him at a hospice where he recently passed on

A great recipe! Add the incredible Olivia, (even without a great script), the amazing Gene Kelly dancing and then mix in some awesome music from the star and ELO and you have Xanadu. i love it!

A dreamy romantic film, and the music was great. I don't go by popular opinion. I go by how a film made me feel at the time. Grease is just about high school. Gene Kelly was fab too. ;)

The scene at :53 where Gene Kelly and Micheal Beck are talking about what type of club they should have was great. When they merged those two songs it was worth the price of admission. I thought that moment of genius alone was worth watching this movie. I love ELO to this day, and Olivia is soooo smoking hot!

I've always wondered if those snippets she performed at the finale were ever full songs in their own right. They packed a lot of tunes into the end which you only hear in the movie.

Wouldn't it be great if they released the tracks that didn't make it onto the original soundtrack on a deluxe CD set?

I've been looking for Xanadu's grand opening number (one of its best) for awhile and was delighted to see it included in your homage to the film!

This movie, although not the best I've ever seen, was a rousing success in all the aspects which make a musical work, and Gene Kelly was having a blast!! Not once was he anything less than a gentleman and portrayed a role worthy of respect.

Those were fun times. The not so great movie was a real romp and i enjoyed it... back then.

Xanadu is one of my guilty little pleasures to. I really enjoyed the video. The title track at the end is so great with ELO i have to listen to it twice. I tell you what Olivia is fucking hot. I'd have shagged it but i was only 10 in 1980.

Wow! This is REALLY good! You mixed some other good 80's backbeats in there that really made it even better. I heard a little Kim Carnes in there and some Adam Ant along with Stars on 45 and I would swear there was even a Human League backbeat in there. Great job!
