Roll cage stays intact, body work and in this case engine are meant to come apart in high speed crashes to absorb the energy of the impact before it reaches the driver. Pretty sure this guy was ok. Quality of the video isn't good, but I'm guessing Renault Mégane throphy too, not Opel.
@SiskaLeen Eh, close enough. I've only seen the track twice, once on Speed watching the 2010 F1 GP there and a second time in GRID, which doesn't list corner names.

I had an accident with a GTC at 120 km/h, the car went in a tree, it was total damage but i totally ok, no injuries at all. So shut up when you talk about Opel and their safety. What cars do you have? I'm curious .. suckers!!
@Laceration242 Depends exactly what hit the tree. If the car clipped it with a corner, he might've done. If the side of the car went into the tree, I doubt he would - unless it was the passenger side.
@TestECull Ya it is here to. Point being People start sustaining critical injuries after a collision over 70 km. Look at all the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or Euro Ncap videos. They are usually doing 55-60 km. A collision at 120 km would be fatal, the body couldn't take that type of G force.
