Marco was such a sweet, caring and genuine person. I can not tell you the amount of times I turned on the TV and saw his big mop of hair and big smile and it made my day. I could not believe it when I heard he had passed. I was at my sons rugby match with the race taping to watch when I got home when a friend text me the tragic news. I had to excuse myself to find a quiet place to cry. Such a loss, no doubt in my heart he was set to be our champion. A beautiful man and now a beautiful angel. RIP

@carsv4 How is it their fault? The speed at which all this happends didn't leave much time to react.

You can see Edwards trying to avoid Marco as he came out of the corner. Instead of Marco's bike sliding off the track when he laid it down it somehow gripped and pulled him accross the track. No one is to blame.

@carsv4 yeah anyone can see that even Edwards and Rossi could not have avoided the accident. It's just a great shame that it has to be Rossi a close friend that has to be involved on the accident. Life's just not fair that's true but I think if it's your time to go nobody has a say to it.

@carsv4 Watch the video again you idiot blaming edwards and rossi what a pratt.Both riders were taking the corner at about 120 mph and simoncelli slid into them there was no way they could avoid him at that speed and in that short a space.You obviously don't ride a bike yourself and have no idea what your talking about.R I P Marco what a waste of a talent and a life i bet he's up in heaven looking down and he blames neither Edwards or Rossi knowing it was just a terrible racing accident.
