  • I gave em to a mate....what a twat..i had 2 copies bor break beatin...doh...

  • first heard this on mike allen - uk fresh 1986 lol - i had it on tape and i have just found a copy of the whole album. I work as a youth Worker and the kids i deal with now want to know who this is and where i got it from!!! they dont believe its 20 years old

  • Beats and pieces, Stop this crazy thing, Not Paid Enough (Paid in full), Telephone and more...this whole album was groundbreaking. It was to the 80's what DJ Shadow's Endtroducing was to the 90's. Still some of the most powerful use of the turntables, plus the humor of dropping Handel's Water music...this song blew me away back in the day. Every DJ that wants to produce should know this. Make it funky.....

  • Cut it up Wiz!!!

  • yay for Led Zeppelin!!

  • They had enough...Bonzo remember...

  • awesome hell yes finally got it thanks for this post.

  • Whose music is in this? Reply to me if you know...

  • Coldcut - Beats & Pieces...thats what the track is called...but the b-side "That Greedy Beat" is just as good as this!

  • what/who do you purpose??

  • The first cut 'n' paste record was Buchanan & Goodman - Flying Saucer from 1956

  • This is the birth of turntableism! The very first cut-and-paste DJ mix, which spawned using the turntble as an actual instrument- beyond just scratching. Ninja Tune founder and innovator Ollie Teeba deserves way more props here in the USA! Mash it up! It's funny when people think mashup music started in the early 2000's... DJ's like Nasty-Nice and Ollie Teeba were creating cut-up/mashup/ or what we called TWO-TRACKERS in the mid 80's I think! Classic wax!

  • @donnywal yeah, then you got guys like Amon Tobin, EBN, Kid Koala, Armand Van Helden, but yeah, most are all on the Ninja Tune Label.
