I think most who oppose it are people that feel they are in good health and believe they don't need it for the time being (which is where I stand). Could you point me to the specific poll? I'm unable to find anything with the exception of one poll that says 60% of Republicans favor Rush Limbaugh. 74% of Democrats don't favor him, which is not a big surprise. You were implying that 70% of all Americans don't favor him which is not accurate.

It seems ObamaCare aims to remove the choice we currently have on obtaining health insurance. I think most who oppose it are people that feel they are in good health and believe they don't need it for the time being (which is where I stand). I guess there are others that simply cant afford it. Those that are for ObamaCare may mostly be those that are denied health insurance because of pre-existing conditions. I dont get why this law will force us all to pay for insurance or face penalties. =\

First, you're incorrect. McCain proposed a spending freeze, meaning no INCREASES in spending.
Far more important than last year's election is what's happening right now. Obama is tripling the national debt in 10 years.....by his own numbers......without government healthcare.
Not only will there not be 3 million jobs created by the stimulus, but there are already millions less jobs than when the stimulus was passed, and getting worse.

Could you point me to the specific poll? I'm unable to find anything with the exception of one poll that says 60% of Republicans favor Rush Limbaugh. 74% of Democrats don't favor him, which is not a big surprise. You were implying that 70% of all Americans don't favor him which is not accurate.

lemme see. I just visited the gallop poll site and according to them as of FEB 5, 2009 6% of DEMOCRATS viewed him favorably. 31% have never heard of him.
AND
60% of Republicans view him favorably. 17% have never heard of him...(we'll have to work on that).
That doesn't even include the Independents.
I gotta tell ya, your number don't match up their site.

Try picking up a biology book. There are a ton of youtube videos and websites that have evidence for evolution. Evolution isent even debated amoung scientist. Its considered fact. Here a fun fact. More scientist deny the holocaust then those that deny evolution.

20 billion softened GM's fall. It was going to happen any way. If he didn't do anything and didn't allow time for dealerships, GM auto companies, suppliers to figure out what they were going to do and allowed an American car company to disintergrate, he would have been crucified in the media. Now that they have idea of what they are going to do....the NEW GM is is still salvagable. It should have happened a decade ago. Obama is 3 to4 steps ahead of you guys. 2-3 years from now you'll get it.

Rush talks about fascism which is a system of control through stringent socioeconomic means and suppression of opposition through censorship and terror, typically via beligerent nationalism. So we have multinational credit card companies who charge us usurious rates and keep us indentured with fee structures that we can't pay back and when we complain we are called "Anti-Capitalist" (i.e. socialists, liberals, anti-American etc.) Sure sounds like fascism.

WDan, The Facism Rush was talking about that you described would be the Pork-U-Lous Bill that the Democrats & obama signed into law! The Republicans were not permitted to read it (but the Democrats didn't either), the Democrats would not let the bill go up for discussion, and the Dems & obama pushed it through SO FAST, there was NO time to poll public opinion.
On the credit card companies.... if you can't follow what's written in the CC contract, don't sign up for a credit card then!

CinderDan, Actually obama is BOTH! In his book, he regards himself as Christian, but it also says in basic words, that he'll switch to regarding himself as a Muslim if the application warrants his transition!
