The AE86 is Intake based. Not blower based so it uses turbo not supercharger

Actually the think the 86 with a turbo is actually an 85 with a turbo, since the challenger with the turbo has the mask saying "Levin" Instead of the 86's Tureno.

the 86 came in two trims in our beloved nippon, trueno and levin. only difference being the trueno had flip up lights while the levin had square non pop up lights =)
