I participate every year. The last couple years I've actually gone down and distributed the boxes.

i am 13 and give a few boxes every year i love to see the children get a box packed with love and kindness it means everything and to know that im helping someone out there just makes me gleam i would love it if i was to hand my box to a child in person i would cry and it would mean the world i hope one day when im at university i take a year out to do missionary work or something along that line :]

More people need to be aware of this gr8 charity, its nt 2 hard 2 make a box, people say u cant buy happiness but in this case u can, buying just a few items 2 put in a shoe box can bring happiness 2 the less fortunate children africa, if me, a child can work dat out, why cant the rest of da world?
